Hmmm. Not a bad episode. Though I have a few minor complaints. First of all, I can't help but feel sorry for Meg. She's hardly in the episode and still she gets bashed. (Flashback of Peter talking to the therapist) Also, where the heck was the evil monkey? If Chris' song was about him you think he would have been seen. Also, it didn't seem like the Stewie/Brian plot was resolved. How did they get back to the states?

Though there were some parts I liked. Kudos to Stewie for shooting the vaudeville guys. They did get on my nerves. I also liked his "Fraggle Iraq" reference.

Stewie and Brian have gone traveling before and made it back to there house in those Road to Road episodes so I'm sure they'll get back some how. By train is my guess or stolen car possibly? LOL. My point is normally the Road to Road episodes don't show them coming back to the house yet they get home any ways. So gonna happen here most likely. Any ways onto the episode I really enjoyed it, funny stuff, funny stuff. I liked Stewie/Brians plot the best tonights. HAHA Meg was hardly in it at all tonight.

Most of it was fairly average, but the trio of "Nah, we take what we can get. We've got two dead guys guarding the ammo shed", "Laura! LAURA!" and "Not you, Fred Durst" killed me.

Great episode. Season 5 is looking to be a great season thus far.

I came in three minutes late, but I enjoyed it. Good episode.

- Dr. Katz seizure
- "No clip?"
- Brian attempting to shoot Stewie
- Zidane birthday telegram
- Adam West playing poker with dogs (This was the best part in the episode. "Is anyone else going to eat the pizza?")
- Peter being confused as to the gender of Marylin Manson ("That bastard! Or *****!")
- Herbert on the motorcycle
- Democracy in Iraq
- Brilliant ending. Absolutely brilliant. ("You guys are going to need these! Hahaha!")

I give this a 4 outta 5.

Was that really him or was it someone else?
I'm guessing it was someone else but I'm not entirely sure. I don't remember seeing his name in the credits.

Was interesting in the first two acts, but lost a lot of steam in the third act.

Highlights from the episode:

-Peter being analyzed by Dr. Katz
-Muddy Waters passing a kidney stone
-Stewie gunning down the vaudeville guys
-Zidane “birthday telegram”
-Chris hitching a motorcycle ride with Herbert

Great episode, Probably one of the more funnier episodes especially when Peter was trying to figure out Marilyn Mansons gender and Brian and Stewie shooting each other in the foot. Probably the best in the lineup tonight.

A.

awesome episode. few things,
  • death of those 2 guys rocks!
  • shooting in the leg bit
  • meg not being in the episode at all
i voted 4/5 just because the army storyline was not resolved

Well, this one was fine, I guess, but they really overdid it with the cutaways. I haven't seen this much cutting and pasting since the dub of One Piece.

Luffy: Ha HA! There's only one way to defeat you, and that's to
*live-action farm scene* have a discussion with you about the error of your ways! You see, I wanted to show you this farm to tell you that these people are living a simple life, and you know what? They're happy. And they're happy WITHOUT VIOLENCE. So please, keep that in mind, okay? *cut back to Luffy standing over a collapsed man* Guess I showed HIM!

It had its moments, but not every potshot at a celebrity is funny just because it mentions an abnormality in their face or body. I haven't seen a formula this worn out since Saw MCXLVIII!

*shows a weary-looking Jigsaw on a TV screen looking at two people strapped to torture devices*
"Okay, to get out of this you gotta.....yawn.....you know what, this has become so routine....I really don't care anymore, figure it out yourself. I gotta go pinch a loaf." *TV clicks off and the two victims look at each other awkwardly*

At least they got rid of the Vaudeville Men. I haven't been so enraptured by an assassination since I witnessed the murder of the original voice-over actor for that one commercial!

*sees someone at Burger King standing in line while repeating a phrase*
Head-On! Apply directly to the forehead!
Head-On! Apply directly to the forehead!
Head-On! Apply directly to the forehead!
Head-On! Apply directly to the forehead!
Head-On! Apply directly to the forehead!
Head-On! Apply directly to the forehead!
Head-On! Apply *GUNSHOT* AAAAAAGGHHHH!!
Everyone in restraunt: "YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!"

I mean seriously, every third breath I took, there was another one. The plot barely stayed together--I haven't seen this much rambling since DianaGohan posted talkbacks here!

I'm surprised there weren't more complaints about the sheer weight of cutaways....and about MacFarlane's repeated attempts at liberal indoctrination in both 'toon half-hours tonight. I haven't seen so much brainwashing on commercial TV since Speedy Boris teamed up with that talking tap-dancing gorilla and tried to take over the world by hijacking a sattelite and broadcasting a worldwide hypnotic message telling everyone to fill their pants with whipped cream and glue live chickens to their foreheads!

Boris and gorilla: "Hey you! Fill your pants with whipped cream and glue a live chicken to your forehead! So says Boris and Gorilla! You WILL obey!"

And that's my two cents.

I find it eerily coincidental that you always make a running joke about how I'm some evil mastermind, since a teacher of mine in high school always made a similar ribbing, always calling me Kaczynski. I must give off a psychotic air or something.

The episode was below average, but the cutaways were just so damn good. Best ones were definitely:

-Mickey Rooney is crazy
-Peter gets therapy with Dr. Katz
-George W. Bush playing with a slinky
-That lady trying to fit her head onscreen.

American Dad was a lot better tonight.

Minnie Driver

It's true, though. I've always found her face and/or head to be abnormally "spread out".

Yes it was. Democracy suddenly appeared, something only George W. Bush could've imagined would happen, and the soldiers went home.

I didn't like that one much, personally. For Minnie Driver references, I much preferred Sealab's "Minnie-Can't-Driver" gag in "Craptastic Voyage".

Memories.....awful, mind destroying, "thank God she's gone" memories...

The Vaudeville guys are dead! So when's Stewie going to shoot the Greased-Up Deaf Guy and Ollie Williams?

Although the Brian/Stewie plot wasn't that great, I felt the jokes were particularly strong. Loved the call back to Brian's novel, and the whole song and dance thing with the drill sargeant.

Best joke was Dr. Katz, though. That pretty much sums Squigglevision up, I suppose.

You sure do. I still have that Anti-Speedy Boris device I constructed last year when it was predicted you'd take over the world.

Worth four stars

The bit with Stewie breaking the fourth wall and shooting the two Vaudeville performers ALONE was worth at least three stars. Hm...looks like Seth and the writers pay attention to the fans' opinions of the show and characters. And I loved the bits of continuity during the scene of Stewie trying to convince Brian to stay with the army, such as the novel or Brian not finishing college.

And the bit with Stewie and Brian trying to shoot each other in the foot. Classic! :p

Four stars for me.

What's wrong with Ollie Williams?, he's okay

i liked this one. it was amusing

i must be the only one that liked the Vaudeville guys.

did i get the wrong show. the man driving his 3 sons...that look like him-"sooo help meeee"

Brian shooting Stewie because he faked it sent me laughin. so nice to see a baby get shot and ppl will laugh at it.

"i have that...Websters disease"

yes the No Clip was great.cause i was literally expecting a clip! *smacks herself* how dare you Seth!?:D
the pokerplaying dog thing was...weird. which is why it was so funny. and then the dog actually talks, i wasnt expecting that!

i miss Meg! cant she have one ep where she is not punished for bing Meg?

Eh, Greased Up Deaf Guy hasn't appeared in a while and Ollie usually only takes up two seconds, randomly shouting something.
