Favorite "X-Men: Evolution" Moment

With the series possibly ending with "Ascension," I thought it'd be nice to go through some of the best moments of the series. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of the show, but I know TZ is packed with them! So, to all of the X-Men: Evolution fans here - what is your favorite moment in the history of the series?

The series won't end with Ascencion, it's Cartoon Networks highest rated kids program.

As far as favorite moment, that's tough. Probably when Rogue killed Mystique, but the scene at the end of Day of Reckoning Part 2 was pretty good too.

Not a massive fan of the series, but I'd probably say when Cyclops started kicking the crap out of Juggernaunt in The Stuff Of Heros.

And the ending of the Christmas ep was nice.

Being the resident Lance Alvers fangirl, I love the scene in "Growing Pains" where he abandons the fight with Cyclops to save Shadowcat's life. That was a pretty big moment for the character (and it's my favorite pairing too--so sue me).

Oooooh yeah. That was definitely something.

When X23 died. Oh wait, she didn't.

Well, I know that Magma isn't exactly the most popular character here, but I loved Cruise Control. It was good development for here.

Also, the Pyro scene in the recent Cajun Spice episode. It was the only good thing about that ep, cuz, y'know, it was about *yaaaaawn* Gambit.

In the episode, "Power Surge," where Jean has just collapsed to the ground after struggling to control her mental powers, on the verge of tears as she says to Scott, "Help me Scott! I can't control it...I can't...I...!" Very well acted.

Just about everything in the episode "On Angel's Wing" (I think that was the title), from the Daily Bugle reference, to how the writers interpreted Angel.

Nick Fury and Captain America. Proving that this show can have more than just the X-Men in it.

The surprising introduction of Gambit, Colossus, and Pyro.

The current episode featuring that girl who can project dreams. (I knew there would be a resolution to the plot twist, but it kept me watching until the end to figure it out.)

Not a massive fan of the series, but I'd probably say when Cyclops started kicking the crap out of Juggernaunt in The Stuff Of Heros.

Ditto on that. I think that if Evolution got only one thing right, it was the character of Cyclops, and something not everyone realizes is that almost EVERY time you see him use his force blasts, he's holding back. He's so scared of his own abilities, he only goes all out when it's absolutely necessary-- as opposed to, say, Wolverine, who, depending on the incarnation, might go berserker at the drop of a hat. It was very cool to see Evo Cyclops bust out like that.
Unfortunately, the moment was ruined only a few minutes later when it becomes obvious that even at full power Cyke can't do jack against Juggernutz and they had to pull the same old "Nighcrawler teleports Rogue close enough to take the enemy down with a touch" thing, but it was a cool moment nonetheless.

Anyway, I'd have to say Lance's savior thing at the end of No Good Deed. I don't know why . . . I just couldn't stop watching it. i think the whole animation sequence there was so well put together.

And the fight between Cyclops and Mystique in Blind Alley. Sweet zombie Jesus! That was awesome!

Well, I am a huge fan of this show. And I'd agree with you on this one. It was WAY cool to see Scott really let loose ... AND STILL Juggernaut showed 'em he could take it. My jaw dropped along with the other X-Men when he threw off the kid gloves(glasses). To often these shows cater to the mentality of, "oh dear, the hero HAS to be more powerful ... " But not in this ep. Even though they "delayed" Juggernaut, the struggle on both sides was just awesome and to see Juggy still come back for more was just incredible.

The Cauldron Part 2:The climax.

Operation Rebirth: Captain America and Nick Fury in the same episode.

Day of Reckoning, Part 2: Scott attacks Professor Xavier saying it was his fault. Bobby and Kurt hold him back. Professor then transforms into Mystique.

The Stuff of Heroes:Cyclops goes full-out against the Juggernaut.

Dark Horizon Part 2:Apocalypse awakens.

"Walk on the Wild Side" - the seemingly-out-of-nowhere music video-type montage; I know that most of you (or all; I can never remember) would sooner drink paint than like (or admit to liking) this episode, but I liked it. Also, have any of you tasted paint? Me neither, but I imagine it to be quite salty.

"On Angel's Wings" - the montage at the end showing how everyone spent the holidays

I'm sure I'll think of others.

If you must know, I enjoy the watching the ending credits, and seeing all of the people who worked on shows that were watchable at some point, and now being relegated to working on this teenage drama garbage. Boyd Kirkland from Batman, Greg Johnson on Beast Wars, etc.

But what difference does it make? I'm just a mean-spirited individual who can't spell. Who the hell am I to talk about anything meaningful?

Last time I checked, falsely printing something I didn't say as something I did say is libel, and I don't like it. At all. I don't like the show, yes, but I don't consider myself a jerk. Mean-spirited, but not contemptible. And I don't hate everything. I liked "Walk on the Wild Side." I don't have a favorite moment, but I liked it. No one else did, though, but whatever. Looks like an action cartoon can't have a purely funny episode.
