I thought this deserves its own thread.

Wow. The biggest increase for the block was with 9-14 year olds, a 95% increase compared to last year.

And Total Drama Island is doing extremely well. A 130% increase with 6-11 and 203% increase with 9-14 is nothing to sneeze at.:eek:

That's good news. I'm glad to hear that comedy is doing well on CN.

Now when Chowder starts airing season 2 and if George of the Jungle were to suddenly become considered part of the lineup, then Har Har Tharsdays would be perfect for me. :D

Wow, that's pretty good news.

I noticed that Johnny Test wasn't mentioned with Chowder, Flapjack and TDI. Maybe that means that the ratings have gone down, and hopefully they won't run the show like it's the second coming of Spongebob Squarepants, at least for a little while.

Either that or CN's downplaying it because it is an acquisition, like they have generally done for the last couple of years.

Of course, TDI is also an acquisition, but it is doing so well CN can't ignore it.

Total Drama Island (9 p.m.) vs. the Same 2007 Time Period

* Kids 6-11 delivery (1,207,000) charged ahead by 130%, and ratings (5.0) by 127%

* Tweens 9-14 delivery (1,021,000) catapulted by 203%, and ratings (4.2) by 200%

Damn, that's impressive.

Good news, good news. I'm still a little worried that TDI is doing better than the originals. And I'm also hoping that the success won't go to CN's head and that we'll still be having a dominance of Test, TDI, Chowder, Flapjack, Skunk, and George on the network.

Seeing how well comedy is doing on the network, and that the network plans on shifting to be more action-geared to appeal to boys, I wonder how the uprise of comedy will affect their decision. Maybe if the Friday Action Block does better than HHT, then there'll be no problem. But if not, then comedy might get more attention than action.

Even if that's the case, as long as the originals still have high ratings for themselves, I don't think it really matters for CN. I know that the second week of July, Flapjack was number one in its time period with boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14. As long as Chowder and Flapjack do well for itself, then its all good for CN.

Pretty good considering ratings were dropping until sometime last year. If they drop Johnny Test and replace it with something else it's be ideal.

Why is Total Drama Island doing so good? Flapjack and Chowder deserve that attention.

I've been really getting into Total Drama Island as of late and I'm glad it has the highest ratings on the block.

Partially from the "reality show" aspect, since many seem to be addicted to them, I would imagine. But then again, it pokes fun...a lot of fun...at that genre of program which makes it funny as hell. It is also targeted to a somewhat more "mature" (relatively speaking :P ) audience, so it would be bound to contribute to higher ratings in that demographic.

CN won't be dropping Johnny Test as long as it continues to bring in high ratings. If or when Test's ratings numbers fall off the radar, then and only then will the show disappear.

At least we have these shows like TDI Johnny Test, Flap Jack and Chowder is good but sadly only action we get from CN normally is chop socky Chooks, Ben 10 alien force, ben 10, and occasionally Naruto, Transformers animated

Hey its bettter then Live action series on the network

I don't see Johnny Test leaving until they finish the season three episodes, then it will probably leave.

Well glad to see Total Drama Island taking the crown, it is one of the main reason I don't want to go to work on Thursdays. Here how I rank my favorite shows on Har Har Tharsdays

1. TDI
2. Chowder
3. Flapjack
4. Johnny Test

After re-reading some marvel comics I also noticed an advertisement for Har Har Tharsdays. It mainly focused on Flapjack and Chowder but total drama island got mentioned .

Johnny test was absent.

I guess since Johnny Test is a rival acquisition, they wouldn't promote it as much as their in-house shows/Foreign shows, no matter how good it's doing in the ratings. That's probably the reason they don't advertise Johnny Test at all basically.

Or maybe they've gone sane and want to kill it?

Happy 20th anniversary to Gummibär/Gummy Bear!

Here's to hoping he releases an anniversary album in stores on November 13th (with lots of music, videos, and extras).
Just brought a Switch 2 this past weekend. I hope Nintendo doesn't follow Sony's suit of getting rid of physical games.
Find it hard to beleive how this upcoming set has more than one normally-considered "politically incorrect" cartoon in new restoration form..
