Har Har Tharsdays is still doing great for CN...

I guess since Johnny Test is a rival acquisition, they wouldn't promote it as much as their in-house shows/Foreign shows, no matter how good it's doing in the ratings. That's probably the reason they don't advertise Johnny Test at all basically.
rival acquisition what do you mean

It's a rival that they compete with for ratings. They compete with 4Kids/CW4Kids, Disney and Nick for ratings. I think, and possible others think, that's it's bad business to promote rival acquisitions like you do your own in house shows.

The show Johnny Test is from another channel (CW4Kids) which focuses around the same demographic as CN, so they won't adertise it as much. However, TDI is from Teletoon (Canada), so CN does not rival it.

Or maybe they've gone sane and want to kill it?

CN couldn't "kill" Johnny Test even if they wanted to, because:

a) it's a TV show, and therefore not alive to begin with, and
b) CN doesn't produce the series, they only air it. JT is a 3rd party acquisition, not a CN original.

Anyways, I agree that Johnny Test is being overplayed right now, but just because a show is on doesn't mean that you have to watch it. If you don't like Johnny Test, watch something else when it comes on. Problem solved.

LOL! :) Well said!

Of course, in the grand scheme that is all of television, is there really...I mean REALLY...anything better on? The Weather Channel, maybe?

Not that I think Johnny Test is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it is a show that I do enjoy to watch, even if played a million billion times per day. I would, however, rather watch cartoons than much of the programming choices available. I have to wonder why I have paid for satellite TV for the last 12 years. If only DirecTV went to a-la-carte selections for channel packages like in the old C-Band big dish days...

That depends on each individual person. Some programs you might not like are programs that appeal to other people.

My statement being tongue-in-cheek, of course. Your response was the point Silverstar was attempting to make, I believe.

Dang, that's a seriously large increase in ratings. I am glad that Har Har Tharsdays is doing so well on CN. That and Saturday mornings/afternoons are the main times that I watch the channel. I'm also not too surprised that Total Drama Island is their top rated show on the block. Not only does it have the partental guidance suggestion warning, thus gathering more of the kids to watch it, but it does do a good job with poking fun of the aspects of a reality show. Despite how I don't really like reality shows, I have been finding myself getting more interested in it, if only to see that Heather does not win. I'm also still loving the humor in Chowder and Flapjack has grown on me, as well as getting better with its humor as the series goes on.

This is great news for Cartoon Network. Hopefully they can expand the block abit and keep it around for a few years.

I do hope this doesn't mean CN will abandon their action cartoon block plans though.

Thank you, Romania, we thought the film will never see the light of day here. Still, why are you waiting some more and launching the film days later than in good ol America?

Today marks the 5th Year Anniversary of the HD Version of Skyward Sword. I appreciated how the HD Version of the game included quality of life improvements such as the option to use button controls.
You know at this point we really need to admit it is never coming home.
