I haven't watched the show since around episode 13 or so, so I want to know for those who kept up with it, has the show improved at all?

I haven't kept up with the show either. The last time I watched the show was to check out the Carnage episode, and I thought the show was still pretty cringeworthy.

Season two is better than season one. That's all I'm gonna say.

I thought Carnage was one of the better ones, but this perfectly sums up the situation. If you really didn't care for it before, Season 2 probably isn't going to change your mind.

There's a very slight improvement (4th Wall/Comical Cutaways aren't quite as rapid fire and in-your-face as before) and there's a little bit of character development (namely White Tiger and Nova)

Overall, it still feels like the kind of show that would've aired in the late 80s-90s. Not bad, just horribly dated by modern standards.

Also, I still hate those early S2 episodes, Rhino and Electro, for having horribly shoehorned morals.

A lot depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for things to like about the show then you will find them. However, if you are looking for things to dislike about the show, then you will probably be successful in finding what you are looking for.

Think of the fable about the princess and the pea (I know, I know, this is deep stuff). A refined, elegant, cultured lady was raised up and conditioned to resting in and enjoying a perfect environment. Therefore her conditioning would not allow her to be able to rest comfortably in an environment with less than perfect conditions. This was the case even though within the less than perfect environment, there existed many admirable and enjoyable features which she could have taken solace and comfort in.

If you are aristocratic in your preferences and expectations about what you consider good animation to be, then the mere presence of "peas" such as, fourth wall breaking, cut-away scenes, individual episodes, lighter rather than a more serious tone, and retelling in a different way of a cherished character's origin, may be annoying and unacceptable. This will be the case even if those things are modified and reduced.

I think that it has improved. But, it all depends on what you are looking for.

It has, to some extent. The best episodes are actually really good! Sadly, the worst ones are maybe even worse than some of the older season 1 episodes.

Asking for better writing doesn't necessarily mean that one is asking for something on par with say Shakespeare. You have former shows like Powerpuff Girls, Batman The Brave and The Bold, Duck Dodgers or Disney's The Weekenders that aren't artsy, but are still intelligent and simple at the same time. Heck there's also Adventure Time and Regular Show as far as current programs go.

I'd even say that Teen Titans Go succeeds in the humor department more, and probably because unlike USM, it knows what it wants to be.

Personally, the quality still feels about as mixed as ever. When there seems to be an improvement in one area, it seems to go down in another. There were more episodes that entertained me in the first season but as this season is only about a third of the way through, that's not really a fair judgement to make yet.

I only watched the first episode but that was something I felt as well.

I've been enjoying the series overall, but I found I really did not like the two most recent episodes. "House Arrest" was too full of "What an Idiot" moments (TVTropes fan here), and overall felt the "Man-Wolf" episode was a missed opportunity for J.J.J. character development. In fact, except for White Tiger in the Kraven episode, I feel like the other four heroes really have not had any interesting character interactions, and are more or less "just there."

that's the problem with man of action shows from Ben 10 to generator Rex their charters are very 2 dimensional and at times annoying
when they have an episode where ben is a annoying bragard talking about how he's saved the world a billion times(so has doctor who and superman but you don't see them bragging about it every hour) and then suddenly he's humble and wise it comes out of nowhere without any real charter development

Find it hard to beleive how this upcoming set has more than one normally-considered "politically incorrect" cartoon in new restoration form..

I'm not Canadian but I'm kind of upset that Teletoon became Cartoon Network Canada.
It's official: I have now preordered GTA VI for PlayStation 5; the more expensive and feature-complete Ultimate Edition of the game, that is. I also intend to buy a PS5 Slim optical drive next month (EDIT: Done!) in the hopes of maybe indirectly convincing SIE to reverse its controversial plans to go all-digital on all post–Jan 2028 PS console games, even though GTA VI is a digital-only game.
Happy anniversary to "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout".
