Is the Flash not being used

okay, okay, already! the REAL reason flash has been m.i.a. on JLU:

some contest guy showed up at his door. free trip to aruba!

Hey, there was that episode where the Flash stopped the Ultra-Humanite's evil plan to fire a rocket at the sun! Everybody's forgetting that episode.

Oh, wait, that was a commercial for the action figures. Never mind. (I thought it was odd that they chose *Flash* of all the heroes to focus the commercial on.)

Could just be the fact it's difficult to imagine Flash as a JLU leader, given how often he goofed off during JLU.
This could actually be the basis of an episode. How some of the members are reluctant about taking orders from someone who doesn't seem to take anything seriously. I know Captain Atom would probably have some problems.

I agree, it would be interesting to see Flash function as a team leader. *imagines Flash giving orders to people*

This was what I was most looking forward to with the new lineup. I wanted to see Flash take a small group out on a mission (ala "Initiation" and "Hawk and Dove") and get driven crazy by the noobs. It would have been funny for him to say something like, "I was never this bad" to GL, only to get told that he was still that bad.

MM:)

I knew once the line up was gonna change that flash was getting push into the background. People keep saying he will get more air time in S4. I`ll believe it when I see it.

Thats nice Flash will have a big part in season 2 but it be awful if Flash, one of the main characters of JLU, doesn't get even 1 line in this season, and uhhh in the Return doesn't count as a line. I really hope he be Wake the Dead with all the things going on it the episode, John is going need some support by his best bud, the Flash. But I got a bad feeling he won't appear in that episode either even though Flash can make the episode so much better. Well its still nice to hear that we will see and hear him again someday, I'm just hoping its someday soon.

Admit it, when you guys broke down the episode for the first and second seasons and decided to put the majority of the Flash episodes in one season, you had no clue us fans would miss him that much.

Considering the crap the Flash got during the second season on this very board, I'm not surprised it took YOU by surprise.

Well, it's good to know that Flash will be back. JLU would not seem like a 'balanced' show to me if the core 6 original JL members didn't each get their share of episodes appearances... and Hawkgirl at least a couple of guest appearances.

I wouldn't be suprised if you hit the nail on the head here Fone. Still its good to know that we WILL eventually get our Flash fix.

Knowing flash he would rather lead a female group whit supergirl invole.:D

I have to say Im very interested in seeing Flash lead a team of heroes because that responsibility would force him to be a little more serious than usual and would lead to some great character development. One of Flash's personality qualities that I have noticed is that he seems to be very moral person.
He was the one who stopped Diana from punching Toyman's head in when they thought he had killed Superman in Hereafter. Proclaiming its not the hero way.

He had the perfect oppurtunity for a spotlight of authority in "Greatest Story Never Told". A wasted episode in my opinion, no matter what they do with Booster. It seemed a throwaway script, and one that should've belonged to the Flash for further character development.

Agreed. To be honest it would make a great story or subplot to see Wally West transition into a more mature and moral hero like in the comics.

I like flash the way he is. I don`t want him to become uber serious like the others. Hes the only one who goes around whit a friendly face smeiling while the other have blink or scary looks on their faces.

I disagree. Flash IS a hero. He didn't need the kind of story a guy like Booster Gold needed. It would have changed the entire dynamic of the episode to have someone who doesn't need to prove himself, try to prove himself. Besides, Flash is one of the big guns. They should have called him first.

Flash may not have needed to prove himself but we haven't seen that. We know he's a hero, but not a leader. And you're right, this was easily too comparable to an "Eclipsed" to be used for the Flash. But, it goes without saying that Flash was expected in this episode. At the very least to show the audience that he was more mature perhaps than Booster.

Oh, I agree that Flash should have appeared with a speaking role. I just think the episode didn't need to revolve around him and that Booster Gold fit the mold quite nicely.

Well, sorry, I may have miscontrued my meaning. It didn't necessarily need to "star" Flash, but it should have featured him prominently. Maybe instead of Jonn Jonnz being the one Booster was bugging, it could have been FLash.

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
