So, what's everyone gonna get this month?

I recently was able to order a few things from Amazon with my $75 gift card that I got for Christmas. Here's what I received:

Ant-Man (Blu-Ray)
Ant-Man & The Wasp (Blu-Ray)
Disney's Camp Rock: Extended Rock Star Edition (Blu-Ray)
Disney's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam--Extended Edition (Combo)

Amazon had only one copy left of each in stock so I just HAD to get them!!!

I recently saw Ant-Man & The Wasp on Disney+ and I loved it!!! It had great action scenes & hilarious dialogue.

I saw Camp Rock on Disney Channel a long time ago and I thought it was great. The Jonas Brothers had some great songs & Allyson Stoner was great...before she started playing Phineas & Ferb's cute & sweet Isabella.

Oh, I also recently went to my local Best Buy to see what was left in their now defunct DVD & Blu-Ray section. Here's what I picked up:

Blue Beetle (Combo)--I understand it's supposed to be a great movie.
Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania (Blu-Ray)--It's to complete the trilogy.

Thankfully, there's a store at my local mall called Entertain-Mart that I will check out only because I don't want my days of buying movies in stores to be over. I plan on getting the Aquaman sequel because they just showed it on HBO & regardless of the bad reviews, my stepdad said it was great & I'm gonna REALLY enjoy it. I also wanna get the Wonka origin movie because I hear it was fantastic! I also still want X-Men: Dark Phoenix as well.

Found a couple of relatively cheap Kino releases- The Unholy Four (a blind purchase, looks like a good spaghetti western) and the Sergio Leone western collection (I already owned the Man With No Name Trilogy, but Once Upon a Time in the West and A Fistful of Dynamite are welcome additions to my collection).

The Arrow Video Blu-Ray of Dune (1984)

I thought this message forum had been shut down since the link hadn't worked for me in a while for some reason. It looks like the last time I posted was in November 2022. So here are the titles I've gotten since that time.

Super Sentai: Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger - The Complete Series

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret (Wal-Mart exclusive version)
Back in Time

Major Disney Movie Club run

For live-action I got

Ordered

Escape To Witch Mountain
Race To Witch Mountain
Newsies
Pete's Dragon (2026)
The Nutcracker And The Four Realms
Jungle Cruise
That Darn Cat (1997)
What About Bob?
Ever After: A Cinderella Story
Rushmore
The Abyss
True Lies
Miracle On 34th Street (1994)
My Cousin Vinny
The Sandlot
Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella

Preordered

Andor: Season 1
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Complete Series
The Falcon And The Winter Solider: Season 1
Moon Knight: Season 1

Movie Club came through for me one last time. Before taxes and shipping I paid 88 dollars for them. Without that huge discount on three of those preorders, I would have been paying 160 dollars plus tax.

Also used points from Disney Movie Rewards for

The Parent Trap (1961)

I love the fact that I cut the cable cord. I can afford to splurge occasionally now.

Redeemed Captain America: 3-Movie Collection from Disney Movie Insiders. Already have the Blu-Rays but I don't have the Digital Copies.

The Crow: Salvation (Blu-ray)

It's one of the titles in my DVD collection that finally has a Blu-ray release. It's by way of Shout! Studios in their Scream Factory line. I was hoping they'd do this after they put it up on Shout! TV last summer, but this is a limited release where they made 1620 copies, and they listed it on their site last Wednesday. I also have The Crow on 4K to look forward to in May.

Now I just have two movies on DVD that still don't have so much as an announcement of a Blu-ray release.

Waterworld (Arrow Video Two Disc Special Edition Blu-ray)

Yeah, my Waterworld talk in the Best Unsung Simpsons jokes thread didn't come out of nowhere (at least not for me)

That was fast. Preordered Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire from Amazon. Can't wait to watch it in a few months.

I was able to score a copy of Herbie: Fully Loaded from Disney Movie Insiders after it went out of print on Disney Movie Club. Just came in!

Two more pick-ups to round up the month:

-The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes- Did a quick (possibly final?) DMC run, picking up copies of both sets of The Weekenders for a friend, and upgrading to Blu for this. It's pretty dumb, but I have a soft spot for this era of Disney live-action.
-Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles- aka the best movie ever, if Sight & Sound is to be believed. I don't know about that, but it's a classic worth ownibg.

Brotherhood of the Wolf 2-disc edition DVD for £1. Sounded intriguing and seemed worth a shot for the price.

Preordered Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire from Amazon.

One last purchase, and a blind buy- Bedtime Story with Marlon Brando and David Niven. A cheap Kino release, and supposedly it's the inspiration for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels- sold!
