I wonder what Scott and Hope's relationship is going to be like? Are they going to be partners? Will they be dating? Will they have that faux-belligerent sexual tension Widow and Hawkeye have ?

I also wonder about Sharon's role. Will they tease a relationship between her and Steve? Will she be around when her Aunt Peggy shows up? That might be kinda awkward .

They'll never show dating.

I hope this Cabal is totally new. I don't think it would be wise to bring back any of the original members in season 1, like Modok .

I feel like Kang is probably going to be a member, and contributed to the Cabal displacing the other Avengers. He's someone I can definitely see chafing under taking orders from the Leader, even if I also don't think this version of Kang will really be able to do much about it...

It'd be cool if we got an Asgardian villain in there, like Enchantress, rather then reusing Loki again for the umpteenth time. Maybe they'll find a way to use Hela for movie synergy ?

I'd say Zemo would've been a good choice if they weren't trying to make him into a good guy, unless they have Kang pull Heinrich out of time so he can join this group .

Maybe Yelena will be a member? It'd be nice to see her again .

I'm wondering if there'll be any villains reflective of the New Avengers: Killmonger? Man-Ape? Yellowjacket? Probably too soon to bring back Ultron .

I don't know if the shows still care for promoting the Inhumans, but Maximus could be a potential wild card for the Cabal, though I hope he's more like his Guardians personality then how he was depicted in the Civil War story .

I think Kang will be his own villain and I would prefer that he be handled that way. Kang is like Doom, far too arrogant to join a team. I'm in your boat Frontier, I hope next time he appears he's a much more compelling threat, he was lackluster compared to other villains especially Zemo.

I hope we get to see Hank Pym in the Ant-Man or Wasp shorts, or both .

They're featuring Hank in the Ant-Man shorts so I imagine it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to see him in the mini-sodes, especially since I can't see how you could cover Scott and Hope's origins without including him to some degree. A nod to Jan in Hope's short would be nice too...

I mean, I won't expect much or any kind of major role for Hank, and he'll probably just be a little less Hank and little more just Michael Douglas from the movies in cartoon format, but at this point I'll take any kind of presence for Hank in the cartoons .

It would be also nice if they maybe cast Grant George as an older Hank Pym, given I feel like he's kind of been unfairly kicked to the curb with this Ant-Man recasting. Though my dream older Hank casting is still Wally Wingert .

I'm also wondering if, for synergy, we'll get any kind of major Asgardian presence or focus-episode in time for Ragnarok? Particularly so with the announced debut of the Jane Foster Thor ?

Like you I hope the villain for any Asgard episode is Hela, Malekith and Kurse, Enchantress, Karnilla, or Surtur. Maybe even Cul Odinson (he's awesome). Loki is great but there are other villains. I would love another Mangog episode.

I would love some Jan and Hank time. Marvel treats them like garbage.

I would love some references to Weird world or a Weirdworld episode.

I seriously hope to see a return of Bucky and Zemo. As a huge Captain America fan, this show has done a great job with his villains. Red Skull was a monster and Zemo was a badass, perfect.

I wouldn't be surprised, though I'm wondering, depending on the timing of production, if it would be classic Brunnhilde Valkyrie or an animated Tessa Thompson ?

The animation itself is good, but it's the art that is bland looking with it's dull coloring and lack of shadows and shading. How any animation studio that is backed by giant corporations with lots of money like Marvel and Disney can put out a cartoon that looks like this is beyond me.

Looks great! Kamala is sooo cute!

I'm curious as to how this Wasp is well known enough to be recognized by Kamala, even though we haven't seen Wasp before in this universe.

Okay, looks like it has potential, and the animation certainly improved (at least from what I saw) this could actually be good. (although if Wasp acts just like her MCU counterpart I'm just gonna refer to her as Black Widow 2)

Fun short .

It did a good job of establishing Kamala's life at her school, and I liked that we got to see her on the phone with Aamir (?) and mentioning her parents, as well as see her in action as Ms. Marvel .

Little disappointed they didn't manage to fit in Bruno and Nakia though .

Ms. Marvel fighting a giant Mega-Toad. Only in a Superhero cartoon folks. Though when she mentioned her "Archenemy" I wonder if the Inventor was behind freeing the frog from it's containment ?

Looks like we've got some setup for Kamala's character conflict going into this season, as she doesn't feel she's ready to be an Avenger yet. And I guess The Avengers are all totally comfortable allowing a minor onto their Superhero team .

The animation could use better shading and coloring, but at least it was a little more consistent and solid by Marvel Animation standards. Hopefully that holds true for the rest of the shorts and the season proper .

I'm curious as to how this Wasp is well known enough to be recognized by Kamala, even though we haven't seen Wasp before in this universe.

Maybe she knows Wasp by her pedigree, if Hope's Mom (Janet Van Dyne) was still the original Wasp ?

I wonder if Scott was the one who pushed Hope to join The Avengers or vouched for her?

I'm wondering that too, since the villain choice seemed pretty deliberate .

So we've got:

- Hyperion (again).

- Leader

- Kang

- A silver-armored guy who reminded me of Detroit Steel and Mach-V (Titanium Man maybe?).

- A green-winged villain.

- Ultron

I know I said I didn't want any of the season 1 Cabal on this new version, but I think I can live with Hyperion .

I don't think we need Ultron in a Supervillain group like this after Ultron Revolution. I think they've about done as much as they can with this version of Ultron .

I'm wondering who the two other villains are...I don't really recognize them .

Kind of disappointed they didn't include at least one woman in there though .

I thought that green robot with wings shown alongside the other villains might be the Super-Adaptoid.

The short was cool and it's nice to see more of Kamala's life when she's not Ms. Marvel. The fight with the toad was pretty random but made for a neat action scene. Looking forward to the other shorts (and then, the entire season )

I actually also thought for a second it might be Super-Adaptoid, this time in it's classic green colors .

Wonder if that means we'll get another take on it this season...

If I remember correctly, AIM turned the Super-Adaptoid green when they improved it, back in the season 3 premiere.

I can't see them, they are blocked in my country so... some questions:

- Vision origin is MCU origin? you know, with the Infinity Gem.
- There is a mention of Mar-Vell in Carol origin?
- There are mentions of Hank and Jan in Scott and Hope origin?

We already knew there's no mention of Mar-Vell. They said last season she got got her powers from alien abduction and experimentation.
