Regarding the censored Sugar Crisp box in the Linus the Lionhearted credits due to FCC regulations forbidding shows made to sell cereal, all I can say is:
“I have Linus. Bring one million in unmarked, non-consecutive bills to Linus’s house. No funny stuff. Love, Sugar Bear.”
Also the color version of the credits disappeared, kinda like Huckleberry Hound which they can't show its credits for legal reasons, but they slipped in its mascot Cornelius in the intro even though there was no direct reference to Rice Krispies.

I mean, when it comes to MeTV Toons' advertisements, they're not wrong here.
They primarily air shows made for kids, yet they're not airing commercials for toys, cereal, or Kidz Bop. Instead, every single commercial is for lawyers, insurance, and health care. That's quite the dichotomy.

Southern New Hampshire University, 1-2 minute infomercials with Ty Pennington or Billy Mays "beyond the grave", Bel Gioioso Cheese, etc

Excellent find powergate. I think this settles the question of whether FCC considers it a kids channel or a nostalgic adults channel. It’s good to see the government acknowledge the existence of adult cartoon fans and not subject MeTV Toons to the dictates of the Children’s Television Act. What a shame, though, that the percentages of audience that are children and adults for Nick, Disney, and MeTV Toons were redacted. I suppose these are trade secrets.

Also, I notice Cartoon Network wasn’t compared as a channel explicitly aimed at children, perhaps due to the presence of Adult Swim as a majority of the network’s hours, as well as the statistic stated a few years back by a network executive that the average viewer of CN was in their late 20s.

You may have misread. This is a request from Weigel to the FCC. The FCC hasn't an acknowledged the Waiver Request yet, or at least not publicly.

It is part of the public inspection regime that submissions to the FCC go through.

Weigel filing was posted on the FCC website automatically for public records. That is normal with these kinds of requests. I believe (but I could be wrong) what will happen next is after the FCC Media Bureau reviews the Waiver Request, they will put out a Public Notice with their comments which will start a Public Comments period. If there is a Public Comments period (not I'm sure if there is with this kind of request), it will probably last about 90 days after which the FCC will reviews comments and make a decision. I will tell right now just from watching MeTV Toons, the Wavier hasn't been granted yet as they are still limiting paid advertisements during the TV-Y and TV-Y7 cartoons.

I hope they have some big, exciting surprises lined up for the fall. The first half of the year has been pretty disappointing so far.

I'm struggling to think what could top the return of Terrytoons, but something like that would be appreciated.

Oddly, they still have the Cookie Jar logo at the end. I was hoping they would have restored the original DiC logo.

Or if they don't want anyone to see the name "DiC," put a WildBrain logo at the end. Indeed, I was actually half-expecting a WildBrain logo to appear after the credits of these new prints, and instead I still get "Cookie Jaaaaaaar!" Which is unusual, given Cookie Jar has been just as dead as DiC for nearly 14 years now.
Only a few episodes were actually restored from the original animation film elements, from what I've gathered. The rest of the show was upscaled using A.I. assistance, and it's not as bad as the "Super Mario Bros. Super Show" upscale, but it's still not pretty at times (mostly with long shots or other instances of characters or objects being drawn from afar).

It has to be pretty cost-effective too. MeTV Toons will always have Looney Tunes unless WB pulls out of the venture.

I know this is a very good ratings stunt, because Weigel has done this before. More than once and they said one time they did with another Weigel channel the ratings were the best. I know it WONT be much but I expect this day will make MeTV Toons score higher in Variety's list.

Honestly, I've been waiting for a perfect release of Rocky and Bullwinkle with all the sponsers, correct music and right episode order with the correct intros. But the wards are paypigs and don't know how to secure rights for a illustrated radio show, Well i don't like illustrated radio, Rocky and Bullwinkle have a charm and sadness that brings me to tears and it's memorable and it has heart in it thanks to Lloyd Turner and Bill Scott making the best they can of the Story.

So I saw Jason The Cartoon Fan mention this on BlueSky and checked it out for myself this morning. MeTV Toons recently started airing the remastered version of Inspector Gadget that was previously only available on Gamisodes behind a paywall. Inspector Gadget looks so much better now.

Inspector Gadget is one of the illustrated radio shows i think i really like since it was filler on qubo when i was 11 to 12 i caught airings all the time and i thought the show was wholesome and cute and smart witted, I'm planning to get The 2006 shout factory dvd because i want a taste of inspector gadget and getting the best episodes I own Season 1 Vol 2 Disc 3 which has my favorite episode King Wrong and the Flies within us and Season 2 which i got from a library last year for 2 bucks in okay condition.
