I agree, especially those GD Veggie Tales commercials. I mean, this is a supposedly Christian cartoon and, correct me if I'm wrong, but they have these vegetables that are phallic symbols (cucumbers, celery, asparagus). On top of that, it doesn't look that entertaining (It would if the vegetables were thrown in a Cuisinart and served on a bed of Chinese fried rice). If I had kids, I wouldn't get the videos, no matter how much they begged me.arxane said:- Any Christian commercial by Time Life, including "Worship Together", "Veggie Tales", etc. I myself am a Christian, but I honestly find these commercials so saccharine and nauseating. Sure, other Time Life commercials are just as bad with the excess sappiness, but putting that sappiness in a Christian product really makes it sickening.
My God, I wish those commercials were dead!Apple Jacks commercials bug the s*** out of me. Some made-to-look-stupid adult asks them why they eat Apple Jacks if they don't taste like Apples. The kids pause, as if they don't know themselves, then say "We just do!" Brilliant deduction! You can't possibly eat them because they taste good?
Same here.Any recent Barbie commercial that tries to make the latest Barbie doll seem a lot better than it really is. Why, yes, it must be a lot of fun to blow up an inflatable chair and then decorated it with removable stickers; we can even let Barbie sit in it! Actually, you know what? Any girl doll commercial annoys me.

That's a great commercial. It was definitely overplayed during I Love the 80s, though.- I don't know who made this commercial, but it's a car company. It deals with people walking on roads as if they were in cars with this annoying one-note-at-a-time piano song playing. The reason I hate it so much was because it was played during every commercial break during VH1's "I Love the 80s".

The girl getting grilled confesses that her crush is on her friend's brother and it ends with the shrill, prepubescent giggling of the girls. That, IMO, should have been more like Jerry Springer (with chair throwing, bleeped-out words, people chanting "Jerry, Jerry!", and fist-fighting).
Not as disgusting as the commercials for Bratz!, Diva Stars, and Flava Dolls (my sister said Flava Dolls promote teenage sex in some way, but damned if I can find it. Maybe it's because of the girls in midriff bearing shirts and jeans that show off their big round black girl butts...if any).
