alextoon said:I take it you also watch I Love the 80's. And here's a commercial that makes no sense: the I Love the 70s 1979 comercial where a kid gives a football player a Coke and then the player tosses him some equiptment and then they say "Coke adds life". That's wrong because Coke sort of weakens life and here's why:
Coke has a lot of phosphoric acid in it. That kind of acid attacks through the enamel of the tooth, hence weakening it.
Local:
Cellino & Barnes: I can't stand lawyers that advertise on TV (especially as much as them). They're everywhere, they've got billboards and commercials playing on TV 24/7
Great House of Guitars: They only have like 5 commercials, which are all at least 15 years old. They constantly play one for the store's 32nd Anniversary, which seems to be every year.
Lori's Natural Foods: This is so pathetic it's funny. It has people in fruit costumes dancing around with a jingle playing in the background
"If you to live long and be healthy and strong...Shop at Lori's
To be good to Earth...Shop at Lori's
Shop at Lori's Natural FOOOOOOOOOODS"
Max Pies Furniture: It consists of the ower dancing around his store singing "Furniture, Furniture Man, I want to be your furniture man!" That and it looks like it was filmed in the mid 80's.Road Runner, Free Sofware: A couple of months ago, the people at my local Road Runner were offering free digital cameras (and the software to go with). So they made an incredibly annoying commercial and decided to show at least two times a show.
Shapiro & Shapiro: "I'm Jim 'The HAMMER!' Shapiro! I'll be your SOB!"

Um, I don't doubt Mean Joe. In fact, I don't even know who he is, unless that football player's him, then I meant what they said at the end in senseless.Obi said:YOU DOUBT MEAN JOE?!?!
That means that fat makes them fat, not their delicious mostly fat-free dessert. If there are any Atkins dieters, please hurt me for my last comment.Desslar said:I hate the recent TCBY frozen yogurt commercials. They all go something like this:
"62% of Americans are overweight. TCBY has the solution - EAT MORE DESSERT!!"
What??? Does this commercial make any sense to anyone?? First, if I were fat I sure wouldn't want to be reminded of it. And if someone did remind me of it, I'd probably be feeling too depressed to eat dessert. More importantly though, the commercial clearly seems to imply that eating their frozen yogurt will somehow help people lose weight. This is just insultingly stupid.

goat said:The new Barbie commercials. The old ones were bad enough, but now they're trying to give Barbie this hip new look. Even skimpier outfits, trying to look sexy. And in one commercial, there's this guy rapping in the background, and I KNOW I heard him say "I'm down with her [Barbie] and my name ain't Ken." ...wow. And now there's this Cheerleader Barbie. It's disgusting.

Conekiller said:kinda sad, ain't it
No, kinda sad that I remeber the original airing. I'm feleing older by the day (it doens't help that it's my little bro's 9th b-day today. I can't beleive he's 9 already)alextoon said:Nope, not sad at all. It was quick and to the point.
But here's a commercial that nearly everyone hates:Skippy Squeese Stick (hey, an illeteration!)If eating peanut butter made me cool, then there would be nearly the whole world lined up at my door just to see me. And (a la Kung Pow) that's a lot of nuts! (I sometimes call people nuts.)
