Most hated commercial?

TNTLWAHSBDNB (Tries not to laugh with a big smile but does not breathe). A fresh alternative to LOL, considering I have some short-fused jerkwads in my family.

Any "embarrasing female hygeine products" ad makes me mute the TV. Like men need to hear about this. And I know I'm going against the majority on this, but I liked the Juicy Fruit commercial with the benchpress. I love how the commercial ends REALLY abruptly with the lady yelling. (Actually, that's really the only part of the commercial I thought was funny...) And I can relate to Barky the Dog, as people ask you dumb questions all the time in the food salesman business.

That was a Brinks Home Security commercial. The woman and her children were defenseless. What else would you expect them to do?

The "Pediasure" commercial with the little boy and his bunny. His mother explains that the rabbit will grow big and strong if he feeds it well...and he says "just like me!" then they explain about the nutrition Pediasure gives kids. The last line is "Look mom, he's getting bigger!"

Aughhh!!!!! Two words...WABBIT SEASON.

One of the local furniture companies does ads that try to rip off ANYTHING in pop culture. They've had cheap knockoffs of everyone from Steve Irwin to Harry Potter, and those commercials PISS ME OFF because they're so horribly done. First year computer arts students could do better with no budget. I want to take a bat to the TV every time they come on.

And has anyone mentioned the Dell Interns yet? ::chases them with a torch:: I reeeeeeeeeally hate them. Hate hate hate HATE them.

Auuuggh- I dislike that one, too. It's drenched in sweetness, has terrible acting, and would only be liked by mothers who are excited to have kids because they want them to behave that unbelievably innocent.

OK, so maybe I was too hard on them. But maybe she could've grabbed a nearby blunt object to HIT him with?! ;) In a time of crisis, anything will do.

Apple Jacks: Uh-Oh, Apple Jacks will "taste like Apples" now, the world is ending! Why can't those foolish adults realize that us kids don't care if it really tastes like apples becuase "We eat what we like!".
AOL - Monks: This one is seriously overplayed, at first I would just mock what the monks saying to each other, but now I just stick my head into a pillow when it's on.
Breyer's Natural Ice Cream: I could care less if there are chemicals in Ice Cream that little kids can't pronounce. (Poly-sor-be-teeeeeeeee)
Gerber Baby Food: There is only one Gerber baby commercial I can't stand. It says how babies who eat Gerber will develop healthy eating habits, then they show an ex-Gerber baby (who's now 9) eating apple while smiling. It just bothers me how artifical it is.
Stacker: I pity people that think losing weight can be done by only taking a pill.
Subway: I like what they said in the 1st Jared commercial "After eating Subway sandwiches and doing a lot of walking..." I can't imagine he's that nice a persion in real life. I much perfer the SNL parody of these commercials, instead of people leaving their homes all skinny they were leaving them extremely fat (which is closer to the truth).
This one for a new woman's razor: It shows all these women shaving the "old" way and being unable to shave but the woman with this fancy new razor can with ease (when they're essentially doing the same thing).
Trix: Just give the rabbit his Trix, personally if I were the rabbit I would shoot all those damn kids and take their cereal "that's for Kids".

Local:
Cellino & Barnes: I can't stand lawyers that advertise on TV (especially as much as them). They're everywhere, they've got billboards and commercials playing on TV 24/7
Great House of Guitars: They only have like 5 commercials, which are all at least 15 years old. They constantly play one for the store's 32nd Anniversary, which seems to be every year.
Lori's Natural Foods: This is so pathetic it's funny. It has people in fruit costumes dancing around with a jingle playing in the background
"If you to live long and be healthy and strong...Shop at Lori's
To be good to Earth...Shop at Lori's
Shop at Lori's Natural FOOOOOOOOOODS"

Max Pies Furniture: It consists of the ower dancing around his store singing "Furniture, Furniture Man, I want to be your furniture man!" That and it looks like it was filmed in the mid 80's.Road Runner, Free Sofware: A couple of months ago, the people at my local Road Runner were offering free digital cameras (and the software to go with). So they made an incredibly annoying commercial and decided to show at least two times a show.

Shapiro & Shapiro: "I'm Jim 'The HAMMER!' Shapiro! I'll be your SOB!"

I'm totally anti-drug and anti-tobacco, but the commercials now are just...buying drugs support terrorism? In a sense, but come on. I'm not supposed to bum a joint because some dad got shot by the cartel for "getting in the way?" Usually, here in reality, that means that poor guy was probably trying to run off with some of the product, or as least a big cut of the cash.
TRUTH covering the streets with body bags? That closes the streets, creates detours, and wastes people's time. Using a loudspeaker in a public neighborhood during the night? Some people have families to settle down with at the end of the night. The last thing they need is someone disturbing the peace.
I think my fav. one is the kid who has the bum read about Project SCUM. Was he a real bum? If so, I sure hope he wasn't after getting paid to do that commercial. Was he just an actor? Shame on them for not getting a real bum and paying him a hefty sum of money, and shame on them for leading us to believe he was a real bum.

I respect what these people are trying to do, but some of the things they do are just silly.

Amen to that. Just let the poor thing have some Trix, he's been trying for how many years now?

Another commercial I despise like the plague is for this new line of dolls called Flavas. There like dolls from the ghteeo and the commercial seems more like a SNL skit then for real. The song goes something like this
" Flavas,Flavas what's youre favorite Flava?"

I haven't seen the commercial and actually just saw the dolls for the first time a few days ago. I was like - "What the hell? Not another 'My Scene' and whatever the other one is called" And they're actually made by a well-known company - they couldn't come up with a a better name than "Flava"?!

I remember back when i was in second grade ( about 13 years ago) they had a vote to see if the rabbit would get the trix he won ina race or not, the vote was unanimous and the rabbit at e the cereal. but the next wave of ads he was back to beign a victim allover again.

I aslo hate the infomercial for the "Tummy Tucker". TUMMY IS NOT A REAL WORD! It sounds really stupid and really annoying every time the woman on the voice-over says "tummy" because she apparently sees nothing wrong with it. It's a stupid word that insults the intelligence of consumers who might be inclinded to buy the product. I could see them using the word for the product name, but the woman says it over and over like it's a real word. How often do you hear "tinkle" in an ad for bladder-control drugs? Never. Because it's a stupid little kid word that means nothing. ARRRRRRRRRRRG.

(I need to get more sleep)

Conekiller is correct, I remember that commercial from way back, and the Rabbit finally got the vote to feast on the 'Trix', and I agree with 'CK' that it makes no sense having the rabbit pining over the cereal all over again.

MY concern is why this seemingly nice rabbit is so hopelessly addicted to Trix? I refuse to touch the stuff lest I end up like that.

The new Old Navy ad for the cargo pants. It's the 1970's disco thing, to the tune of "Boogie (Cargo )Fever". The "host", "Jamall", says "shake what yo mama gave ya!!!" ARGGGHHHH! And it's on EVERY COMMERCIAL BREAK!!! You can shake what your mama gave you all you want, but play that ad any longer and I will cut it off.

The Keebler Elf commercial with the "Elfvis" character singing about club crackers. Don't make me get all shook up, lace up my blue suede shoes and round up the hound dogs to hunt down the cartoonist who animated that. Thankyouverymuch.

I hate that Dr. Pepper commercial with LL Cool J. He raps about being original, yet the company is telling him what to say! LL Cool J wouldn’t know the “Taste of Originality!” he only knows the “Taste of Fructose Corn Syrup!” and money. :|

No wonder AOL/TIME Warner loses so much money, they jam those damn free discs in the tin boxes into every orifice of your body and spend 100's of millions on producing and saturizing the airwaves with commercials so annoying that they make you want to send them mail bombs... in little square tins, hee hee hee.

I like that AOl ad, just for the fact that they use the word "Carpathian" which reminds me of Ghostbusters 2, which was a funny movie. in whoch Bill Murray berates Vigo for chosing New York "only a CARPATHIAN!......."

but another one that truly gets my skin bubbling is the mini oreos one where the kid sees the cookie and runs home like a madman outta hell only to see that HE HASN'T GROWN AT ALL. Noone can be that dumb.

And oh yes, I also don't like those "Mama's Got the Magic" and all those other commercials that imply that all women should do is clean the house and take care of the kids. Grrrr  I guess I'm a feminist  There's also this dish cleaner stuff featuring that little droplet with the sunglasses.
