I just realized that, in one week, Netflix will remove every show relating to DC comics, while all of their Marvel Comics related stuff will remain. It's official, Marvel has dominated DC, no one wants Superman or Batman anymore, not unless it's all silly like TTG. Now all they want is Hulk or Captain America.

Keep in mind that i'm a DC fan all the way

Think it's a stretch to say "no one wants Superman or Batman anymore." As we know, the movies and TV shows on Netflix streaming aren't permanent residents. They get licensed for a set amount of time, and then they either get renewed or taken off.

Even then, Jem and the Hologram and I believe several other toons were slated for a removal as of February 1st, then later in the month, yet still on. Any other source besides the expiration date on the show?

Are live shows like Arrow leaving, too?

Incidentally, it wouldn't hurt to do heavy viewings of the shows in question if anyone hopes for Netflix to keep them.

I'm sure their metrics aren't that easy to fool, they probably have ways of tracking this kind of thing. Anyway, its really up to DC and whether they're willing to accept less money to keep their shows on the service. Shows that are all long cancelled and forgotten by the company...

Yeah I was about to say it's rather ludicrous to assert this means nobody likes Batman anymore.

Orrrrr instead of spinning it with a lot of ridiculous nonsense, you could take the fact that Netflix has a giant deal with Disney, so the Marvel stuff is there for that reason. DC animated stuff is old and as their natural contracted agreement is coming to a close, Netflix and WB likely couldn't come to terms to continue the deal. It's not personal, it's just how business operates.

I have been cursing the heavens with George Carlin profanities when I saw this :( :(. I was enjoying the hell out of having JLU in HD at long last given that it's never coming out on BD, and between it and Amazon Prime, I was ecstatic about having the whole DCAU. Even if Netflix had an e-mail account, they probably wouldn't listen to complaints, I imagine it's out of their hands and has to do with the contracts with CN. I suppose it could come back, but I'm not holding my breath :( :(. Dammit. First world problems, I know.

I was really disappointed when I found out. At least I got to have a little JL/JLU marathon out of it. Couldn't do the same for Batman Beyond, though. Never found the time.

This flat out sucks on both WB & Netflix part.

I do not know the audience of DC shows on Netflix. But in CW Arrow and Flash are successful, Gotham is a success for Fox and TT Go are successful in CN!
and everything will be more favorable when it debuts Batman V Superman, I guess for the 2017 0 2018 a new Justice League Animated Series !

I still don't have Netflix, so I'm not too bothered by it, though I understand how this could be disappointing for people who use the service to catch up on/watch some classic, and awesome, DC cartoons from the comfort of their computer :(.

At least we have Bruce Timm's new Justice League coming out on YouTube later this year.

The OP thinks people don't want Batman anymore.

This follows in line with the removals of CN originals from Netflix which will happen next Monday.

what?? :O Is that true? which you refer? Justice League Gods and Monsters? DC Superfriends? or another Justice League cartoon?

I wish we could get a little more DCAU, even knowing that "Epilogue" was a perfect coda.

Countrymen,

Damn, I wanted to rewatch the Brave and the Bold. Hopefully they put them up somewhere else like Hulu Plus.

Just brought a Switch 2 this past weekend. I hope Nintendo doesn't follow Sony's suit of getting rid of physical games.
Find it hard to beleive how this upcoming set has more than one normally-considered "politically incorrect" cartoon in new restoration form..

I'm not Canadian but I'm kind of upset that Teletoon became Cartoon Network Canada.
It's official: I have now preordered GTA VI for PlayStation 5; the more expensive and feature-complete Ultimate Edition of the game, that is. I also intend to buy a PS5 Slim optical drive next month (EDIT: Done!) in the hopes of maybe indirectly convincing SIE to reverse its controversial plans to go all-digital on all post–Jan 2028 PS console games, even though GTA VI is a digital-only game.
