This proves Nick is way too over-reliant on SBSP I mean not one but TWO hour-long specials?! What will it take for Nick to stop there love affair with SBSP? A dramatic drop in ratings perhaps?

Well the good Friday schedule seems expected, though I would of preferred The SpongeBob Movie over those 2 specials.

which SBSP movie are you referring to the one from 2015 or 2005?

SpongeBob movie is from 2004, and he meant first spongebob movie

SpongeBob movie Nick did have history airing in the past, but now nick is over reliant on cloudy with a chance meatballs movie.

What a lack of variety on Nick's 7pm-9pm schedule. Certainly they have other stuff to air other than Spongebob, Henry Danger and overaired movies/ bad original movies.

Why is it Nick always changes the sked so much? And meanwhile, good shows like Harvey Beaks rot on Nicktoons..

It's their station. They have every right to.

Yeah but it WILL come back to bite them in the you know what! They can't keep relying on SBSP because people eventually will get sick of it as they say "what goes around comes around"!

Even DISNEY CHANNEL isn't this over-reliant on one thing not even when High School Musical or Hannah Montana was big! That says something about them compared to Nick I miss the days of the game shows like GUTS,Figure it Out,Nick Arcade, etc THAT was when nick was at there absolute best! But it all changed when SBSP came along it got so popular that it's the only thing Nick cares about now! In other words the show ruined Nick!

Well ratings are falling in SB rerun ratings so anything can happen from there.

I have to admit, it's the management's own fault for letting the sponge ruin the channel. They felt that just because it's the most popular thing on their station, they could make it the focus of their brand. They were proven extremely wrong. That shows just how lackluster and misguided one decision can fracture an entire brand.

What's the average on reruns for that sponge these days?
It is about 1.6 depending on the time it airs though, for more info check out the Nick Ratings Thread.

It is so ironic to read this, considering Disney Channel is using its Friday night schedule to air a special of a new IP it is trying to build as a new brand, Star Darlings, and also debut, Backstage, a DHX Media show originally created for Canadian audiences. Nickelodeon is continuing to use the "tried and true" airings of Spongebob and Alvin to get high ratings on that Friday, which is unsurprising. Disney appears to be taking the opposite approach that night.

in other words disney channel actually gets it!

Thurs Mar 24 2PM-4PM Nickelodeon airing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs again for the umpteeth time.

And meanwhile Harvey Beaks, PGBC, Sanjay Craig, and even reruns of Fairly OddParents rot on Nicktoons so the main network can spam with the same two shows over and over (and now apparently movies).. and of course, those terrible kidcoms.

Not sure if this is the right spot, but PGBC's Secret Origins episode is going to air...
on Nick's website. Do I sense of Legend Of Korra type of move online for this show, and possibly others?

I have to wonder just how much they paid to get the airing rights to that film, because they're clearly determined to make as much out of the lease as they possibly can.

Schedule on weekdays starting Monday, April 4:
SpongeBob and Alvin slots are same
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn 6:00pm
Paradise Run 6:30pm
Henry Danger 7-8pm
Thundermans 8pm
Bella and the Bulldogs 8:30pm

This live-action block actually is pretty good and adds some variety to the schedule

A very good schedule, but I wouldn't get our hopes off. Remember the last time Nick schedule in history started with variety schedule, but then later on they might make last minute changes by relying much SpongeBob and Alvin and live action heavily reduced or could be more Henry Danger or Thundermans, or later on could be losing variety.

If this sked holds--it's a small step in the right direction. But the thing they must really do is fix the afternoon schedule by cutting back on Spongebob and ALVIN!! and giving other shows a chance, such as Harvey Beaks, who almost have enough eps. for weekdays.

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
