Here's an idea: since NickSplat (and nostalgia in general) is pretty popular and on a channel not everyone recieves, why not have a "Nicktoons Rewind" block every Sunday on Nick where they air all the Nicktoons from 1991-2008 all day long.
Here's what the schedule would look like:
Sundays from 6:00am to 12:00am
6:00am Doug
6:30am Rugrats
7:00am The Ren & Stimpy Show
7:30am Rocko's Modern Life
8:00am Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
8:30am Hey Arnold!
9:00am The Angry Beavers
9:30am CatDog
10:00am Oh Yeah! Cartoons
10:30am The Wild Thornberrys
11:00am SpongeBob SquarePants
11:30am Rocket Power
12:00pm As Told by Ginger
12:30pm The Fairly OddParents
1:00pm Invader Zim
1:30pm ChalkZone
2:00pm The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
2:30pm All Grown Up!
3:00pm My Life as a Teenage Robot
3:30pm Danny Phantom
4:00pm Avatar: The Last Airbender
4:30pm Catscratch
5:00pm The X’s
5:30pm El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera
6:00pm Tak and the Power of Juju
6:30pm Back at the Barnyard
7:00pm Nicktoon Movie #1
8:30pm The Mighty B!/Making Fiends
9:00pm Nicktoon Movie #2
10:30pm Nicktoon Movie #3
What do you guys think? I think it's a good idea to have something like that on the main channel because then they'd have a potentially bigger audience than a niche channel like TeenNick. And don't give me the excuse that the kids who watch Nick won't bother with these old shows, because me and my friends used to watch Nicktoons Network and Boomerang as kids when they still had older cartoons and we still liked them, even though I'm only 15 now. I mean a good cartoon is a good cartoon, regardless of when it was made. What's gonna stop these kids from enjoying these shows the same way I did? The only way I knew they were old was from the fact that many didn't air on the main Nick channel anymore and a few only aired sporadically (like Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold! and Rocket Power).
