It turns out when Tom and Jerry became more popular, the Our Gang comics were axed.
(My theme if the comic was adapted to the TV/Movie screen
(MGM Lion roars, followed by a byline with the text "MGM PRESENTS:")
"OUR GANG, WITH TOM 'N JERRY, YOU'LL HAVE A GAY TIME INDEED!"
"spend some time with us, it's time for Our Gang, With..."
"TOM AND JEERRRYYY!"
(Fades out)

The Our Gang Era: MGM Lion/w clothes, Tom and Jerry at bottom, due to the comic being printed around the release of "Puss Gets the Boot".

The chalkboard era, beginning of T&J's rise.

Filmstrip era, Little Rascals shunted to side, T&J become main focus of the book.
T&J Era:

Little Rascals/Our Gang feature axed from book, Tom & Jerry become main focus.
