This is one of the most underrated kids shows of all time.
Here's the theme song

Anyway the show's surreal nature makes the show hilarious and just makes me wish it got more episodes. All of the show is uploaded to YouTube BTW. I highly recommend it.

From the looks of it, it kind of remind me of the Stick Stickly thing back then on Nick.

We never got that show here in Portugal but I do remember Oobi's page on Noggin's website.

Oh dear, that thing again? That show sure felt awkward and downright bizarre...

The show was produced by a guy here in NY named Josh Selig, who's best known for making several preschool series like the Wonder Pets. He runs a company called Little Airplane Productions (the name was taken from a short film he did when he worked on Sesame Street many many years ago) that produced Oobi and his other shows; his studio is based at the South Street Seaport, believe it or not.

Back to the weird talking hand thing, it basically ran for two seasons around 2003-04 on the Noggin channel. The characters came about from a series of short interstitials done a few years prior for the channel. As you might have guessed, the show was produced on a low budget; what would you expect from a small studio working for a small network?

Thanks for providing a history of Oobi.

Anyway in my opinion the best episode of the show is Oobi's Car. The humor works especially well in this episode and it's just fun to watch.

Sadly the series got cancelled

And Norway's unbeaten streak over Brazil continues thanks to their 2-1 victory that led them qualified to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals (second round, first round is the round of 16) tonight.
Those doing the pyramid burger on YouTube are doing it wrong. Let it cook until it's well done because I've seen people doing it and trying it before spitting it after realising that it's raw.
I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
I might be the only one who cares but why is Scooby Doo basically unavailable everywhere? Netflix has only Mystery Inc and the two James Gunn movies. Tubi has What's New and Where Are You. Meanwhile HBO Max has basically nothing. I've been itching to watch the classic Scooby Doo direct to video movies lately and they're nowhere to be found outside of purchasing them on sites like YouTube.
Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
