Hi folks, Mikethegreat1 here!

Here's a (kind of pointless) list of mine, it might also be the only one of its kind! Anyway, I have just finished a class on video editing at my local college.
And recently, I was somehow reminded of how... somehow, so many B&W Walter Lantz cartoons only exist to the public with timecodes. (A flashback to when I was skimming through a "Cartoons of 1939" blog, in 2019) ANYWAY... out of boredom I decided to make a list of all these timecodes, but then I discovered something while making them... I think they had a meaning! So... these cartoon films were apparently scanned to magnetic tape between July 21 and August 11, 1985 by a company called "AME Inc." for Universal Studios. Based on the content of the Jerry Beck Garage Sale DVDs that cost me a rather HUGE $140 in July. I also looked up AME Inc. and it seemed they did a lot of post-production work for TV episodes in the late 80s-early 90s and were located in Los Angeles.

I also noticed that between each cartoon there were 30-second intervals.. Possibly for commercials

MAYBE, Universal was going to release these B&W films as compilations on VHS tapes at one point? And/or maybe colorize them in one-hour TV slots in syndication? (I know about the "Toy Shoppe" test, maybe Fred Ladd wanted to do all the others, too) The world may never know at this point!

Another thing. If anyone on this board has the Garage Sale DVDs, you'll probably know that the tape that showed the "original titles" also showed a few politically incorrect scenes between the opening and ending. Namely, in Kings up, and The golfers. Maybe Universal was going to edit these scenes out when they were gonna colorize these? Just a thought.

I know it is incomplete, but since this website has been around since 2001... (older than me by 2 years, wow!) the complete VHS reels might still be in the collections of some of the people who have been on this board since the very beginning. Namely, Pietro Shakarian, David Gerstein, Tom Klein, etc.

Anyway, after a few days of countless and extensive rewinding and fast-forwarding on my DVD player, here is the list! Any help in filling in the blanks would be wonderful... If this list breaks any rules of Toonzone, I'll quickly delete it!

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
