Attention all PB&J Otter fans. Disney Junior is finally airing the classic PB&J Otter starting September 4. I am extremely glad it's back. The show hasn't been on in the US since 2004/2005.

I decided to make this thread in celebration of the show's return.


And if does of you who doesn't know about this show:

PB&J Otter is an animated children's series which premiered on Playhouse Disney on March 15, 1998. The series centered on the otter family who lived in the rural fishing community of Lake Hoo Haw. Most stories revolved around the otter kids: older brother Peanut, younger sister Jelly, and diapered baby Butter (named after the peanut butter and jelly sandwich), as well as their friends and neighbors. Supporting characters included gossipy Cranes, overly hygienic raccoons, a junk-collecting Mayor, and some very wealthy Poodles.

This is the show I liked. This is the show that grew up with me. This is the show that inspired me. Great plots, problems, plans, etc., it was edu-tainment. My favorite character there is Baby Butter Otter. The cutest baby. She was quiet but oddly pops up a word at times. My second favorite character is also Peanut. I always remember him being annoyed to dance at the Noodle Dance. But does it anyway. Very funny.


Just so you know this is the creator that later created Playhouse Disney's Stanley (also one of my favorite shows). Disney Junior still airs the show.

I remember watching it on Disney when it first came out and finding it okay. I would watch it when it was on, but I am not missing it. The only episodes I remember clearly is one where it was really hot out and the poodle kids had air conditioning and they would let the other kids come in their house and one where they were at the raccoon girl's house and they tried not to wake up her dad.

Aw nuts! It's one of my favorite guilty pleasure shows and I can't even watch it! Why, well because I have Charter. I hope Carter can pick up Disney Junior before the show gets pulled off the air.

NO FREAKIN WAY!!! I used to watch this show all the time when I was younger! I loved it! Nice to see that Disney is finally getting around to airing it. Hopefully it'll stay for a while.

I was hoping that they would pick up this show soon. I'm glad too, as I always liked PB&J Otter. Stanley is good too, though they play it at 3am...
