There's no reason for those eps to be removed though. According to Dogasu the Japanese version actually re-colored Jynx purple in later airings, but the dub never fixed it. Skipping 3 good episodes (the Christmas ep is a classic), is absurd. And as I said, Jynx literally only appears for 30 seconds at the end of the Prima episode...and they skip an entire episode for a 30 second scene?
I remember that. I specifically brought up the Japanese version airing the Christmas episode with the purple Jynx redesign in my previous post. I also said that I wasn't sure if it would be that easy to just put the dub audio over that version of the episode. More likely, TPCI might have decided that it wasn't worth the time, money and effort to edit these older episodes. It is excessive to ban episodes just for briefly showing Jynx. I don't think that's the right call if they don't want to edit Jynx's design for whatever reason. But I'm not really upset over this decision either. It's just not that big of a deal, especially compared to other decisions the dubs have made over the years.

Remember in 2005 when May's last Hoenn Contest she battled the girl with a Jynx with her Skitty? I remember KidsWB originally skipped over those episodes and didn't air them to a later time, with people suspecting they were banned. Then they did air later, and were put into the correct order. Imagine if they skipped eps where May won her 5th ribbon? Dub fans would be confused how May went from 4 ribbons to entering the Grand Festival.
I thought that it was confirmed that those episodes were pushed back so that 4Kids could edit Jynx's design, but maybe that was more of a reasonable assumption. The difference here is that those episodes were important for storyline, so editing Jynx was more of a necessity. As enjoyable as the Christmas and Orange Island filler episodes were, people aren't going to be confused by skipping over them. The Prima episode had some good moments for Ash and they do refer to her in the opening narration in the following episode, but it still isn't vital for the overall storyline of the Orange Islands storyline. May's last Hoenn Contest is more important by comparison.

Also the fact that the writers put Jynx into major eps again says a lot. Jynx was also in that Battle Frontier filler after, which is apparently the last episode Jynx has ever been in to date...even in Japan after 20 years later.
I imagine that Jynx not being a popular Pokemon is a pretty big factor. It's more infamous for its initial design and having to be redesigned in the second generation. I don't think that the Japanese version wouldn't include Jynx more often just because of how the dub has handled it, especially when I'm pretty sure that Battle Frontier episode did have them as purple in the Japanese version too.

And there are episodes more problematic than ones with Jynx in them still in circulation, such as the Kalos League Final.

The Kalos League finale is not more problematic than Jynx. Why would they ban Ash losing in the Kalos League? I know that the backlash was bad. I remember it pretty clearly, but I thought that fans cooled down relatively quickly. A couple of weeks into the Team Flare arc, I remember fans being really into it and XY is still one of the more popular series in spite of its problems, not just the Kalos League. Arguably, Ash losing wasn't even the worst thing about that arc. The Kalos League was so rushed that I don't think Ash winning it would have made it significantly better. It would have been more satisfying, if only because of how ridiculously overpowered Alain was by that point, and there are still good battles in the arc, but I don't know if Ash winning would have improved it a lot for me personally. More importantly, they wouldn't ban an episode just because fans threw a fit online over Ash losing again, even if it is one of his more infamous League defeats.

It's pretty baffling that people are still upset over the Kalos League even after Ash defeated Leon. Putting aside how I feel about how they handled that tournament for a moment, you'd think that people would be satisfied with that accomplishment. But I remember people still wishing that Ash defeated Tobias and Alain in To Be A Master, as if those were necessary for his story. Admittedly, I can understand wanting Ash to defeat Alain. It really felt like they were setting up for Ash to win back in XY only to backtrack for whatever reason and if they were going to include Alain in the tournament, they should have used him for Ash Greninja vs. Mega Charizard X instead of being a jobber against Leon. That would have been perfect fanservice and a better way to attract attention to the anime than Ash battling against mostly one off characters for half of a tournament. But aside from people still bitter over the Kalos League, there wouldn't be a reason to set up that match after Ash defeated Leon. It just feels so moot to be that upset over the Kalos League or consider it problematic even now nearly a decade later.

The Kalos League loss put a huge stain on Pokemon's 20th anniversary celebrations, much as two years later, the 25th anniversary of Star Fox was ruined by Krystal only getting into SSB Ultimate as an Assist Trophy after years of requests for her to be playable.

Not really. There were a lot of events during Pokemon's 20th anniversary, such as event code distributions, a bunch of merchandise like plush toys and cards and the release of a then new generation of main series games with Sun/Moon. This was also the first year that they started to use Pokemon Day, something that has continued with every year since the 20th anniversary celebration.

From what I remember and what I've looked up online, there's really no indication that the Kalos League finale had any kind of impact on any of the franchise's 20th anniversary celebrations. There were fans online posting images of throwing away some Pokemon merchandise as their initial response to Ash's defeat, but that always felt like such overblown reactions to me. More importantly, I don't see any indication that those or any kind of reactions to the Kalos League impacted any of the 20th anniversary celebrations.

Instead of the 6th Season of Pokémon the Series (Advanced), my country got the obscure Chronicles. Also, my country only dubbed the Original Series, the 7th Season (Advanced Challenge), the 1st Season of BW, as well as the movies 3, 4, 5 and 7. In fact, the Serbian dub of the Pokémon franchise became defunct after the 1st Season of BW somewhere in the 2010s, while the Croatian one continues to this day. Do you know why? Was this because of the franchise's terrible mishandling in Serbia? What do you think?

Pokemon TV uploaded the first two Hoenn episodes:

Early Hoenn is very nostalgic to me since I watched all these eps when they were new and originally aired. I didn't follow the Japanese version back then but still went on serebii/bulbagarden to look at upcoming Japanese episode titles or screenshots from future eps. Back then the dub was like 40 episodes behind Japan, so if you were online at the time you would see everything from future Hoenn eps that aired in Japan that dub fans would have to wait months to see.

Veronica Taylor was also the perfect fit for May. In retrospect it's quite shocking they cast the voice for Ash for the female companion of the region, but her May voice is practically perfect. A lot of people didn't even know Veronica voiced both May and Ash till years later. Like to this day I'd say it's one of the best voices for a female character in the dub besides Rachael Lillis.

May acquired three mammalian Pokemon over the course of her time as a main character - Skitty, Munchlax, and Eevee, the latter later evolving into Glaceon.

It wouldn't be until the XY series that we had a female main character only owning furbearers - Serena.

Like I mentioned before, Serbia skipped the 6th Season in favor of Chronicles and the only Hoenn content that was dubbed in Serbian were the 7th Season and Destiny Deoxys. That was because in my country, selected portions of the Pokémon franchise were handled by different dubbing companies and that led to the franchse's premature demise in Serbia.

I'm pretty sure a lot of fans knew that Veronica Taylor was voicing both Ash and May. Maybe it was surprising for more casual fans or if AG was your first Pokemon series, but it was pretty well known back in the day. I remember people commenting on the Bicker the Better episode saying that it was Veronica Taylor arguing with herself for twenty minutes. It wasn't some well kept secret, especially when fans were upset over the voice cast being replaced once TPCI took over.

Plus, her voice for May is pretty recognizable since she tends to use a variation of it for some of her other young girl roles in other series. That isn't to say that it's a bad thing. Her voice for May is good and being able to give two lead characters distinct voices showed off her range as a voice actress. I just don't think it was something a lot of fans didn't learn about until years later.

It's too bad the comment sections on the episodes are turned off, I would have liked to see how people were reacting to the episodes. Some people may be seeing these eps for the first time, or others who hadn't rewatched them in a decade or more. I also wanted to see if any genwunner/misty fans would show up and rage there, and I would have "educated" them about the anime like I did on forums over the last 20+ years, and nowadays on social media like twitter/reddit/youtube/tumblr, etc. But I understand kids shows on youtube uploaded officially usually have comments turned off to prevent anything inappropriate being said on official channels.

Speaking of the second ep, I'm surprised Team Magma is introduced as early as the second ep, like the earliest introduction of a villain team in the anime...and then the writers just squandered the whole Magma/Aqua plotline as the series went on. I'm still bummed about it to this day, they could have easily followed the game plot for their appearances and given us a 5-part conclusion with Steven and Rayquaza showing up, and good animation for the Groudon/Kyorge showdown, as well as showing them go to Mt. Pyre to get the orbs.

At the very least, XY's Mega Evolution specials did give us the epic Groudon/Kyorge/Rayquaza showdown with Steven showing up we wanted, it only took 10 more years to get there.

Even with the quotation marks, saying that you'd educate other people like that comes off as rather rude and condescending, especially when it's not your self-appointed duty to confront Misty fan, or educate them as you put it. I'm rather baffled at your obsession with Misty fans, but maybe wanting to confront them about it is part of the reason why you keep focusing on them and Misty.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if there would be any noteworthy amounts of rage comments about Misty leaving even if they did allow comments. I'm sure that there are still people who don't like that it happened. There are plenty of Misty fans out there and I have seen people saying in YouTube Community posts that they miss Misty. But would be still be the kind of rage like there was back when AG first started? After twenty years, I highly doubt it. I think you'd be more likely to find people commenting on Rachael Lillis after her tragic passing last year, especially near the end of the original series, than still being upset over Misty leaving the cast.

I don't really blame them for not allowing comments on these videos. Not only because they wouldn't want anything inappropriate being said on their official channels, but it would be such a hassle to moderate the comment section for hundreds of videos. It just wouldn't be worth all of the work and hassle. At this point, I think that the Pokemon video game community is more toxic than the anime community. It's hard press to say that you like most modern main series games, but there's still plenty of toxic aspects of the Pokemon anime online community too.

Yeah, as much as I like AG, how they handled Team Magma/Aqua was pretty bad. I think that the writers were eager to tease Team Magma since this was the first new evil team introduced in the main series. They couldn't really adapt much of the storyline for G/S since that involved Team Rocket trying to find Giovanni and since they skipped the confrontation with Giovanni during the Kanto arc, there wasn't much they could do with them. Here they had two new evil teams that they could adapt from the games, but they mostly just appeared occasionally during the Hoenn arc, not really adapting the storyline from the games well or even having their appearances building up to the climax. They didn't have to do a complete one to one translation of the games. I think that the anime tends to work better when it does it own thing while still using the games as a blueprint for their storylines, such as the Team Galatic storyline in DP. But the Team Magma/Aqua storyline doesn't really work either as its own thing or as an adaptation from the games. They didn't even confirm that Team Magma/Aqua had disbanded until a few episodes later, which was a strange move.

I still remember being shocked when both teams just suddenly had Legendary Pokemon. They weren't Team Rocket trio levels of incompetent, but their episodes throughout AG just didn't make me think that either team were strong enough to overpower Groudon or Kyogre. Admittedly, I didn't really have a problem with Steven not being included. Treating the Hoenn Champion as a generic one off character was a bad move, but I just didn't find him to be that interesting, even with the original R/S games in mind. I understood more as to why fans really liked him in OR/AS and it was still cool to see him get more attention in XY, but I didn't mind not including him in this two parter. I kind of liked Lance taking Steven's role. It was a nice bit of continuity, something that would become a bit rarer with later series, and it was kind of cool to see how he trained his Gyarados after the Lake of Rage two parter. Removing Rayquaza was a huge shame though. I don't think that the climax needed five episodes, but a better two or three parter probably would have worked.

One aspect about AG that I remember liking was how it really did feel like a fresh start. Ash starting a new team with just Pikachu really did feel like we were starting over again and at the time, that made the series feel pretty refreshing. It's hard to really capture that kind of feeling again when the rotating cast and Ash getting a new team became the standard, but I do remember feeling that way when watching AG for the first time back in the day.

The cool thing is they added the Arabic dub again. Similarly to S3 and S4, S6 was lost media even moreso. After 20 years it resurfaced.

Will be the Serbian dub of the first five Pokémon seasons added? If I am wrong, will you please tell me why?

Nobody here is going to know why foreign dubs aren't being added. Maybe they just don't have the recordings anymore? I have no idea how the dubs in foreign countries are handled.

In my opinion, this character loves to lie a lot in order to promote Ecruteak City's tourism. In her first appearance, she wanted to join Ash and his traveling companions in their journey, but she changes her mind for no reason at all. And in her second appearance, she lies that her sisters are not allowing her to travel, apparently forgetting what really happened in her first appearance. In fact, Sayo had a potential to became Ash's new traveling companion, but she loves to lie a lot. What do you think?

I think that you're misremembering a lot about these episodes. She didn't lie or changed her mind for no reason. She decided to stay with her sisters in her debut because she realized that she wasn't ready to go on a journey. Sakura realized that she would have been a burden on Ash and his friends and wanted to learn more about raising her Eevee with her sisters.

It's been awhile since I've watched the Johto saga, but Sakura didn't lie about her sisters or forgot what happened in her first episode. She was able to leave on her own in her second episode because she had already proven that she was a more confident capable trainer with her Espeon. Her sisters realized what she was about to ask and gave her permission to go. She even decided to go on her own so that she could be more able to handle traveling on her own. Realistically, there was no way that Sakura would have become a traveling companion. Her role was to promote a then new Eevee evolution and be a mirror to Misty and her sisters. She wouldn't have actually joined the cast, especially not near the end of the original series.

I'd love to see Ash return, now as an adult, in a series of action films depicting him as a PTSD-stricken war veteran in a manner similar to Rambo.

These films would be meant for mature audiences, especially people who got into Pokémon as kids and have remained fans into adulthood.

I highly doubt that they're going to age Ash into an adult, especially not as a war veteran with PTSD. The Pokemon anime has tackled dark concepts, but it's still family friendly. They aren't going to toss that aside to pull some edgy angst nonsense like throwing Ash in the aftermath of a war story.

I don't think that they'd turn Ash into an adult simply because they'd want him to be more recognizable by the general audience whenever he does appear again. Besides that, Ash being an adult or a teenager wouldn't be drastically different than he is as a ten year old, so it would be a hollow or meaningless change.

Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
