Post something random

This is a (random) reminder that Hanna-Barbera and Ruby-Spears are/were two different companies, even if R-S' shows (from Fangface to Dink the Little Dinosaur*) are now part of the H-B catalog. Sure Joe Ruby and Ken Spears started out at H-B, and R-S' shows have a similar look and style, but still. I'm just glad they stopped releasing later R-S series on DVD under H-B's name.

Oh, and one other thing:

They were once a Filmways company, "dahling".

*Yes, they're more than just Thundarr the Barbarian, and...the guy who pities the fool who don't watch his show. They're also:

-"America's newest and greatest superhero", who came "from out of the pages of DC Comics" (I've "stretched" this as far as I can go...)

-"the sassiest, brassiest, classic cat" (and this was before those Inspector Gadget guys made that other show [hint, hint]...)

-the guy who gets fused with his car after he..."crashed" a scientific experiment party unannounced (yes, R-S made "that" show as well)

-the anthology of shorts based on video games that aired on the 7th day of every week.

-the bumbling knight who also had a video game, but was more like a movie in an arcade machine

-the multicolored puzzle toy that once got its own show

-the girl from the future who had to stop a criminal from doing...something to her ancestors.

-the Vietnam veteran from a certain series of R-rated movies who joins a "force" (hint, hint...) similar to the "real American heroes" (and yes, it's a family show).

And last, but not least...

-a certain "canine" from a certain book who just wanted a "boy" of his own.

So, uh, is it just me, or is Crasher's (from...the other [American] show about sentient mecha that can "convert") laugh really annoying?

Then again, it can't be as annoying as an evil leader insulting the good guy leader's (non existent) mother...even if that does only happen in the Spanish dubbed version (for Latin America).

Something tells me that poor promotion caused the cartoon crisis. Maybe it's just me.

Congrats to the Dodgers for winning the World Series,....I cheered for the Blue Jays. ^_^;

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
