Why did Nick Jr. try to hard to make Kai-Lan the next big Nick Jr. Show? It was like they were trying to make the main character (Kai-Lan) the mascot and were going to make Dora and Diego secondary shows, you can look at merchandise, promotion, articles and several other things related to the show even from the premise alone and you’ll see what I mean about this.
