Bob Bergen just tweeted out that June Foray has passed away, just a couple months shy of turning 100.

She was known for a number of roles. I think there are more, but the two I can think of off the top of my head are Rocky from Rocky and Bullwinkle and Granny from Looney Tunes. I'm sad to hear that she's gone.

A couple months shy of her centennial, but the voice of Lucifer the cat in Cinderella, the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha Fetalle, the voice of many female Looney Tunes characters (including Granny), has finally passed away, according to Bob Bergen.

Well, now we officially lost everyone from the Golden Age Of Animation. RIP June Foray. You're gone, but not forgotten.

Also, if you see a site called Mediamass reporting that it's a hoax, I'm afraid they're not a credible source.

She's had a great career spanning decades and will be missed. RIP.

That's saddening, poor June she was a great voice actress and had a great career as a voice actress as well which lasted many years. RIP June Foray.

Rest in peace. You've given us a lifetime's worth of joy during your own life, and you'll continue to give joy to those who come after us.

Well, now we officially lost everyone from the Golden Age Of Animation. RIP June Foray. You're gone, but not forgotten.
Their work may be more associated with early-to-mid 60's television animation (Wikipedia claims 1967 to be the cut-off year for the Golden Age of American Animation), but we still have Jimmy Weldon and Julie Bennett.

I think we all kind of knew this was going to happen at some point, but that doesn't make it any less bittersweet. She's definitely had the kind of career longevity that few others have matched, and that alone makes her stand out. Not to mention her voice is probably one of the most distinct in animation history, appearing in countless Warner Bros products and even some Disney ones throughout said career. Quite a great legacy to have left on.

This hurts, I mean...it really hurts. June was a legend in the industry for decades, and from what was seen of her she was a very respectful and well mannered person.

Like the tragic passing of Alan Young last year this was expected but it hurts no less. I wish nothing but the best for her family moving forward

Dangit, really? We were THIS CLOSE to the first centenarian voice actress still working. She really did, too, up to the end. I wish more studios had hired her in her final years. If I'd had the chance to work with Foray I would have taken it.

Who are Jimmy Weldon and Julie Bennett? I was about to say that now all the Golden Age VAs are gone, but I've never heard of those two.

It's always tough when you lose a legend, all the moreso with such a prolific female VA as June Foray and her various iconic roles.

RIP Ms. Foray, and I wish the best for her family and loved ones.

She endured a long career and lived a good live, amazing she even continued working to this very day.

Thanks for your talent and inspiration June Foray.

Best condolences to her friends and family.

I do too say RIP to June Foray, I'll remember her most as being the Voice of Granny from Looney Tunes, she was the perfect voice, and Rocky too.

Really sad news, June Foray, best awesome classic Golden Age voice actress with an amazing career, her voices for Granny, Rocky/Natasha, and Magica De Spell were pretty sweet. All the Golden Age classic voice actors gone made me sad though, Rest In Peace June Foray, she'll be missed next to Carrie Fisher, Adam West, and David Bowie:crying:.

I'm really sorry to hear about this. I hope she rests in peace. I've only recognized her from voicing Granny from Looney Tunes, but this is still sad to hear.

And she was so close to 100. What a shame.

The last of the old voice acting greats departs our world. Foray was the voice actress by which all who came after her are measured by. RIP

Hanna Barbera's Yakky Doodle and Cindy Bear, respectively.

Don't forget Doug Young (the voice of Doggie Daddy).

Anyway, I (like a whole bunch of other people) am very upset over the fact that she died when she was this close to her 100th birthday. THAT's what upsets me the worst. It's Bill Woodson all over again (he was set to turn 100 this year but he died in February).

My family and I celebrated July 4th this year by watching the first 10 episodes of MetaJets back-to-back lol.
How are you guys planning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 1-31-2007 next year?
And Norway's unbeaten streak over Brazil continues thanks to their 2-1 victory that led them qualified to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals (second round, first round is the round of 16) tonight.
Those doing the pyramid burger on YouTube are doing it wrong. Let it cook until it's well done because I've seen people doing it and trying it before spitting it after realising that it's raw.
I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
