The 7D was a pretty good show, with relatable characters (Especially The Glooms), nice storylines, and clever jokes. But it hasn't aired a single new episode in about 5 months. (It's not listed in the July premieres either) There is only one remaining episode left to air in the first season, which is a half-hour special titled "The Rock of Stages", followed by a second season consisting of 39-half hours.

The Rock of Stages was supposed to air on January 2015, but was pulled since the episode had to go through some final retakes. It still hasn't aired in those past five months, and probably won't be airing in July. Are the retakes done yet? On a side note, the show is currently airing on some very bad time slots.

The show was quite enjoyable, but I'm not sure if it has a bright future or not. Will Disney ever air The Rock of Stages and Season Two? (They've gotta air them at one point!)

They will air the episodes at some point. Animation is a tricky thing. For example, after December 24, 2010, there wasn't a new episode of Pound Puppies until August 13, 2011, which was 7.5 months later because of animation problems. It might be awhile before The Rock Of Sages will air.

The 7D is one the best new shows of this past season, so I know the wait for new episodes is annoying, but Disney has ordered a second season of the show. The Mouse House wouldn't have greenlit another season if they weren't planning to air it at some point.

My guess is that they're saving "Rock of Sages" (not Stages", BTW) for late summer/early fall, and then season 2 will start sometime after that.

I really hope The 7D comes back soon (and that the 2nd season that's being buzzed about is treated well enough, too...) - I'd rather not see something wholesomely good like this show get senselessly replaced or ignored, just like that.

This is my first post, so hi everyone! I just want to share some updates: Apparently, the final touches on the "Rock of Sages" episode was finished. The bad news- -- it apparently has already released in some countries a few months ago. South Korea and Spain aired it earlier this month as well as the U.K., where it was shown along with the new episode of Gravity Falls.

However, a user over at The 7D Wiki (which I'm also an admin there :)) asked exec producer Tom Ruegger on Facebook and was told that the season finale would finally air in the U.S. in September. Production delays or not, it seems that Disney XD is intentionally holding the episode so they can air it at the right time while the international Disney networks are airing it (a similar thing happened to Phineas and Ferb numerous times), despite the fact a few scenes from "Rock of Sages" was shown on a network promo back in January when several new episodes premiered.

As for news on Season 2, Kelly Osbourne had tweeted nearly a month ago that they're halfway through recording lines for the upcoming season. Other voice actors for the show had also tweeted that they're still recording lines. I hadn't heard anything yet about any animation production finally occurring, but since the series got renewed back in December, it's most likely that it we'll finally see Season 2 later this year or early next year.

Thanks for reading this!

I'm doing my Happy dance! Get it? More to the point, I'm so excited!

My thought is that they are probably going to air Rock of Sages to kick off Season 2.

Happy 15th anniversary to Secret Mountain Fort Awesome!

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
