Damn. Greg has an awesome voice. I am surprise he hasn't made it big yet. So I guess this episode confirms Greg isn't ageless like it was imply before. That good. Good episode.

This episode was pretty good. A little flashback episode never hurt.

Just a father and son guitar dueling. My dad, brother, and I would do that, but with push-ups instead of guitars.

Let’s hope Greg tells more about Steven’s mother than Martin did about Finn’s mother.

Day-um! Greg was handsome back in the day. Without his beard, you can really tell that he’s Steven’s father. Too bad age did a number on his good looks.

Cool, the Crystal Gems had different outfits back in the day. They certainly didn't care for humans; treating them like wild animals.

Lucky for Greg, Rose steps in and saves Greg from getting caber tossed by Garnet.

Uh oh, gotta get back to Marty. Greg will woo you later, Rose.

Greg is having second thoughts about leaving. We all know this is gonna end.

Jeez, Marty is a slimeball.

Whoa, almost got into a car crash. At least Greg would survive.

Yeah, Greg! Eff Marty. Follow your heart, boyo.

So how do the Gems age, if they're thousands of years old, yet they look younger here, even though the story didn't take place that long ago relevantly speaking?

I don't see how Pearl or Garnet look any younger Amtheyst maybe but one can argue that the addition of Steven made her mature

How could they deny us a duet between Rose and Greg? How could they possibly be so cruel? We know that Rose Quartz has a song coming up. Were they really recording for season two way back in October?

Other than that, it was really cool to see the Crystal Gems before Steven. We knew his arrival changed a lot of things, but I didn't expect that their outfits would be on the list of things that were different. That Amethyst. I wonder when they found her? Was she really the baby of the group for thousands of years? We know she was around back when moats were still in vogue, and I suspect they picked her up not too long after the rebellion.

Pearl and Amtheyst looked younger, and Garnet sounded like her voice was at a higher pitch.

This episode was nice. I like how they shown Greg in his early days.....man that guy lost alot of hair! lol sorry XD. lol we can see why Greg sees Marty as dead to him, really the guy was a jerk which i'm glad they didn't show him alot or else i would've hated him more.

Now we get to see Rose of her personality a bit and wow it's kinda like Steven, especially when she does that silly laugh along with the star eyes like Steven. Even tho Amethyst look cute it's weird watching her very young also goes with Pearl since she did look a bit younger unless they will explained it, so far we know that Gems can change their looks so probably sometimes they prefer to look younger and other times older?

Rose knew the risk of dating a human where Greg's lifespan is not that long as gems do so aside of breaking Greg's heart it also breaks hers but Greg didn't care which surprised Rose and makes her happy.

Hope this will open for more episodes of the past also give clues of the war and Yellow Diamond.

Keep in mind this was a story being told so it may be flavored by Greg's feelings on the subject and may have been summarizing events that took over a longer period of time: so Marty might not have been that big of a jerk and it may have took longer to hit if off with Rose.

I think we saw Onion's mom.

It's interesting to think Amethyst has long hair now because she thought Greg's hair looked cool.

I think the assumption is that Sour Cream was conceived in the van and then Marty split. I can't believe they slipped that in.
