Hope they reveal the names of the other Opposite Titans unless they were listed in the credits.

I thought it was Cree Summer.
It was definitely Cree Summer. Finally a role intentionally annoying enough for her voice. And no Elmyra doesn't count because Elmyra actually sucks.

The Night Begins To Shine was a visual treat. Let me just get that out of the way, it was an awesome special episode, and the art and writing and humor are absolutely on point. That said...
I'm not going to lie, I was pretty bummed out by the fate of the Evil Dragon. Was a bit violent, especially for Teen Titans Go! But it was a good story, and it had some fantastic visuals, and Cyborg's mullet was indeed the stuff of legend. Especially since it was at the hands of Cyborg. He's my favorite DC character of all time. Was a bit of a double-whammy. :(

That said... I'm not hating, I promise! It's just that this is the first TV character I've ever been upset over their death. Was a bit of a new experience for me; I'm not sure how I'd handle Game of Thrones.

I hope the evil dragon comes back, and maybe even as a good character, or a bad character again, but he learns to be good, and uses his keyboard skills to play with B.E.R., and to sweeten the deal, as opposed to him "getting" the song, he learns how to play it! That would be a lot of fun. Maybe even the Teen Titans would get to Ride The Dragon for a second time! He'd make for a great reformed villain, and his design is on point. Just like all the other designs in the show.

Great show, regardless! Treatment of dragons being the exception, of course. :)

Not bad. Definitely the superior origin story. Nice to see they filled in some blanks with how Victor became Cyborg and how Raven ended up with them without breaking canon for once.

The Wet Wipes argument cracked me up. I've had similar arguments and am on Robin's side on that. lol.

Neat ending with the origin of Titans East but I guess Kid Flash got kicked out and replaced with Mas y Menos.

Teen Titans Go! "Flashback, Parts 1 and 2"

Kid Flash is SUCH a stinker on this show. It is so weird that all of the major villains on this show are heroes, and all of the supposed villains are actually innocent victims. But Kid Flash comes across as especially loathsome. I hate him so much. Rosenbaum made him genuine and lovable. Friedle makes him the kind of guy who makes it so that you actually relish the shattered leg. And you really should not ever be doing that. But Friedle makes me WANT to do that.

I loved Raven "attacking the dummy". Seriously, Robin was begging for that.

I love the sickened and mistrustful look the cat gives Starfire after she takes it out of her mouth. Points for retconning the stupid language kiss meet-cute too. Did I mention I hate that part of the Teen Titans mythology? It needs to be retconned gone and stay retconned gone.

Was that the first instance of "The Old Shablammo"? I think it might have been.

Kid Flash better be doin' the peepee dance, and he'll be doing it for another minute! I love Beast Boy.

I love the idea that Robin is only an intense mess because the other Titans MADE him an intense mess. It's believable too.

What a fun episode. Not exactly as epic a debut as "Go!" was for the original series, but Go! didn't have Starfire eating cats, so pobody's nerfect. ****1/2.

Fredle is just giving the writers and voice director what they want; don't hate on the poor voice actor.

If we go back to 1980 and the debut of New Teen Titans, any prolonged physical contact with a Tamaranian can allow the transfer of language ability, not just a kiss.

I'm not hating on Friedle. I love the guy. But he is SO great at making Kid Flash loathsome. Which is the right move for the character.

The kiss thing is the best known part of the mythology though. And it's dumb and shows everything wrong with comic books.

It was bro-tastic. I thought at the end Raven and Starfire might go bro, but instead they went back to being no-bros. Tragic, but understandable.

I'm glad the writers have embraced their inner bros.

That was super obnoxious. I like the Don Cornelius reference, but everything else was majorly annoying. This is episode is everything this show's detractors claim it is.

On the plus side, I liked the sneak peek of the movie after the episode. First time Hynden Walch has peeked out on camera. She's usually too shy for that. They even made fun of that fact in the 200th episode. It was cool seeing her. *.

The story felt too cookie cutter to me. The typical quest structure they use off and on. It's season 4 and the 205th episode. They have to resist going back to the well and throw in some new curve balls. It could have been neat to reunite the all-girls team and/or throw in a villain or H.I.V.E. trying to get the glory for themselves.

This episode wasn't good, but not bad either. It's middle to me.

Happy 20th anniversary to Gummibär/Gummy Bear!

Here's to hoping he releases an anniversary album in stores on November 13th (with lots of music, videos, and extras).
Just brought a Switch 2 this past weekend. I hope Nintendo doesn't follow Sony's suit of getting rid of physical games.
Find it hard to beleive how this upcoming set has more than one normally-considered "politically incorrect" cartoon in new restoration form..
