Are the discs available online? I'd be willing to buy some of these but, I'm several thousands of miles away from Media Play :p

Anyone pick them up?

I don't know. I've been looking for info on who produced them or pictures
I could show, but no luck so far...

I did a search on Amazon, but didn't find them listed there. I'll have to keep an eye out for them when I'm at the mall. There isn't a Media Play in my area, so I'm hoping the discs are not exclusive to that store.

Oddly enough, they aren't listed on Media Play's site either.

Nor are they listed on Suncoast's where I saw them...

I'm betting they are DVDs made exclusively for that store to tie into Spider-Man 2. Is there anychance that anyone bought them so I can see some scans of them? I would really like to know what they look like.

The series is now about half way through now with 25 episodes available on DVD, and 27 episodes left to be released (5 episodes in Season 2; 9 in Season 3; and 13 in Season 4).

If they keep up this trend of releasing one disc per quarter we could see the whole series on DVD sometime late next year or early 2006, depending on how many episodes they place per DVD in the future.

The DVDs sell for about $10 each, and if you do the math, over time and not including tax, your paying about $70.00 (7 DVDs at about $10.00 Each) for 25 22-minute episodes. Quite a lot of money when you think about how the WB just released Batman: TAS-Vol.01 for only $33 for 28 22-minute episodes.

Are Media Play and Suncoast owned by the same company? If so
maybe that's the case--if not then it's in two separate stores and unexclusive...hmmm.

Yes, Media Play, Suncoast and Sam Goody are all the same company.

Perhaps they are indeed exclusive to that chain of stores then...

Does anyone know where I can find some pictures of these DVDs? I'd like the see the packaging, disc art, maybe even menu shots if possible.

Maybe I'll pick up the 2 discs I wanted next week, not sure though. If I do, I'll let you know what the quality was like.

And yes, I am Marz from Bottalk.

You saw them at the supermarket? Is that owned by the Suncoast/Media play guys as well or does this throw the exclusive to the store theory out the window?

Are there any images of these DVDs online anywhere? I would really like to know what to keep an eye out for just incase I happen to find one by chance.

......

Ugh, I wish they would just release the whole stupid series proper, like the 67 collection recieved.

Well these don't really seem to be "official" releases.

I went back to the Suncoast and had a girl look them up and
even though she had one in her hand and put the bar code # into
their computer system it came up with no info whatsoever....

Thanks for the cover art. These don't look to be official although the cover art does look pretty nice. I wish we could get more of these or at least find these for cheap. I'd definitely pick these up.

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
