Heh heh, over 9,000.

If the one source for AS ratings for Saturdays posts something it wont be for a few more days.

We just reached the one day mark of [as] twitter post...

12683 retweets in 24 hours.

Normally I'd be like "Just because a mass of people want to see doesn't matter, there are other things that go into shows/blocks", but the sheer amount of people supporting this in only a day is enough proof that Toonami might as well be considered revived.

No, consider it dead until CN makes an announcement. Don't get your hopes up people. It's never a good idea.

Cartoon Network, Toonami Thread: 04-01-2012

Like I said over it the AS Forum:

It's been ages for me to replay anything related to Cartoon Network, Toonami or Adult Swim. I just had to chime in, after missing out on the April Fool's Toonami-Fest 2012. I was a regular Toonami Otaku from the time of Moltar in 1998 to TOM-3 in 2006. I would tune in now and then, but wasn't up-to-date with on everything or with every show.

Then, Toonami died a slow death back on September 20, 2008. A part me went that day, but I wasn’t upset because I had to moved on. In recent years, I’ve would for any signs of a possible return of the block in one form or another. I would find mostly angry otaku videos, rants, and blogs about bringing back the block and to how important it was to them.

Then out of no where, Adult Swim Action brings us back Toonami circa 2004-2007 for 1 night for April 01, 2012. I congrats Williams Street for bringing Toonami back for its 15th Anniversary year, even IF it’s only for 1 night. Thank you Cartoon Network. :tom:

I hope for it to be revived. :( It majorly deserves a comeback. and I support Toonami, and TOM! :tom: So, lets all hope for it to happen.

Looks like a very positive response, to me. ^_^

Unless I'm just reading too much into it, but I don't think I am.

Yeah, it's positive.

If it was negative, they'd just stop talking about it.

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
