This is a proof of concept. A hypothetical opening for a show/movie. It is directed by Beto Irigoyen. It mixes some Mesoamerican influences, with some anime style.

It might be the mambo song, but I get a Cowboy Bebop feel too.

Too soon? How weird. Reminds me of that one CN pilot in a mall that had its storyboards leaked in 2014 and was quickly deleted.

I wonder if they were able to make a production deal. But removing the proof of concept was a condition. I suppose it's also possible there was a legal issue. There is alot of work that goes into making even a 2 min animation.

It was a piece made based on a mambo song. You cant really remove them. Not at all easily. I wonder if it was a rights issue.
