Happy Holidays everyone! Can't remember the last time a Christmas-themed episode of a popular series actually aired on Christmas day! But then again...how many people watched it?

"It's Christmas time in the city. A number of guests have been invited
to the lair for a big holiday feast. But, where's Michelangelo? Well,
he's out playing Santa Claus... a butt-kicking, hard-driving Santa
who's trying to save a truckload of toys destined for an orphanage from the
hands of some bloodthirsty thieves. The only problem is, who's going to
save Mikey from the bloodthirsty thieves?"

Good episodes but "The Christmas Aliens" was a rather strange and unneeded title. I'm guessing the title has to do with the end of the episode. I figured with that title Mikey would be fighting aliens durring christmas.

+ Klunk
+ Purple Dragons
+ The turtles guests (Though I was hoping for Sidney too)
- stealing toys? Ok I guess they would go for a lot of money on the internet but still.

Christmas morning is a danged-fool time to be broadcasting a Christmas special! I do hope they're planning to rerun it sometime.

:) Damn Good Episode The animation was great too. A fun experience, something to sit back and enjoy (Best Action christmas Special i've seen lately).

Nice episode. I was surprised to see the girl from "Fallen Angel" in the episode. Everything else was good. Not much to say really. :p

Yeah Angel was a nice addition. I since this episode is actually the first one of the season all the characters at the party are there because they return this season. The Bums and SS have already returned while Angel will return a little later. Oh yeah Leo and Usuki(SP) giving each other swords LOL.

You could buy it on DVD since October. They probably wont rerun it. They really should have aired it last week instead of "The Lesson". But maybe they aren't going to stop premieres of TMNT until they finish the current season. Which BTW would kick shell. This season's finale is highly anticipated.

I'll bet CN will air this episode on Miguzi someday and the Fox Box could air it next Christmas as well. Gotta have something for Christmas week on Miguzi next year. Or maybe I dunno... they could air it on Toonami next year.

Or you could have done what I did. I taped it (with hopes Fox wouldn't pre-empt it). But it hasn't aired here yet actually. 4 minutes in counting but I've got a family breakfast at 10AM so even if people are late I'll only be able to see some of the episode.

I actually rented this from blockbuster and watched it awhile ago so that I wouldn't have to wake up this morning ;) Good balance between action and morality for a holiday themed episode, and the christmas dinner guests were cool to see - but Silver Sentry, geez  Little more restraint there, buddy!

Anyone else thinking this screws up continuity a little? It obviously takes place after The Big Brawl, but April and Casey's relationship doesn't seem anywhere near as advanced as it would be by this point - I thought she'd be more playful about the mistletoe than annoyed.

Still, nice Christmas treat. Where else would you see a big rat dressed in a santa suit?

For those who Haven't seen it Fox Box might re-run it again next year or you might see it on Cartoon Network next year too. Don't worry

It was called the Christmas aliens because the toys that were hijacked were called "Little Orphan Aliens." Mike makes note of them near the beginning of the ep.

I still find it odd having a new episode on Xmas.

Anyway, it was a good episode, until it got all mushy at the end.

hey man, there's a nintendo ds on auction for $900
'tis the season to price gouge (we need a grinch smilie for times like these)

remind me who sidney is

btw has anyone seen this dvd on the shelves, 'cause i haven't

it was cool to see the purple dragons again
and the Damio was an unexpected cameo

this ep brought alot of things back, especially the gift Mortu gave Splinter. it was cool to see he and Hamato Yoshi sharing a moment.

judging the casey-april bit, i assume this story takes place in between season two and three

Eh, sorry, 4Kids, but Christmas Morning isn't for the TV.

I'm sure they'll rerun it seven months from now in one of those cheesy "Christmas in July" things.

Sidney is or was Quarry, of course she is probably still catching up with her family after being gone for years.

Now that I think about it Leatherhead was oddly missing too. However I know why Leatherhead was not in this episode. It was released before we learned Leatherhead lived and how (Sure most people knew he was comming back but still.) Looking at it that way it makes sense that Leatherhead was absent from the meal.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Usagi and Silver Sentry. Klunk was one cool cat. A little boring in places but you can't beat a new Christmas special on Christmas Day. ***1/2.

Oh... right... I somehow had other things on my mind.
A half hour cartoon never hurt anybody. I spent Christmas morning with my family but when you're alone in your apartment for the rest of Christmas day you start looking for things to do. Luckily I taped this.

Sides, Christmas didn't stop you from going online, did it?

Wow! Lots of cameos in this episode. Usagi, Damio, Silver Sentry, Angel, the Professor, Gen, and the Eastman and Laird cops! :)

It was also pretty nice to hear the Professor say "happy Kwanzaa" to show that he celebrates the african-american holiday. :)

Pretty funny that Casey got smacked outside the head with mistletoe! :D

Klunk is cool! :)

Also funny to see splinter in a santa outfit. :D

The whole chase scene kind of got dragged on in this episode but that's a minor quirk.

All in all, good episode! :)

Dare I say it, I'm actually starting to like Silver Sentry. At first I thought he would be a generic super hero, but this ep gave him a little bit of personality.

I'd be interested to see more, maybe even out of costume.

Deep Thoughts: 12/25 Sat Xmas Day!

1. April is a jerk! R-e-s-p-e-c-t the mistletoe's authori-tay! :D

2. They're also missing the people who were underground crystal monsters.

3. Why couldn't Mikey just leave the stolen truck for the police? Anyways, they got a Kris Kringle out of it. :)
