And honestly, this isn't some secret for no one knows about. Demarco does come her sometimes and would have seen you guys talking about it. Either way, it sucks, but we know we will know news when it officially happens, which is for the best. Lastly, I am also one of the people who think the Pacific Rim animated series should air on Toonami, as most of us know, the block has did so many unexpected things at this point the PR animated series airing on Toonami could be seen as possible.

I personally thought the movie was great, but it should be said that the quality (or possible lack thereof) of a film doesn't say how its animated counterpart will be. Like, the 1998 Godzilla is notorious for being a bad film, but those who have seen the Godzilla animated series that spun off of it generally praise it for being more faithful to the original films.

Your point is valid. The new Tron movie was really boring, but the show was great.

Yeah, next time you come across a schedule that posts more than a week ahead, usually best not to share that information on a public forum, twitter, etc. DeMarco cracks down on that stuff pretty fast.

I don't share any such thing on Twitter... When I post here, people wander off to either Toonami tumblr or Jason's Twitter. I have tried not to share the source so many times, but some of the users are always like "proof or didn't happen". So, it gets very annoying real quick.

I hear ya man. You want to be able to trust folks here and most know better than to snitch but others take that info and blurt in out where it is more likely to be seen.

Generally better to keep it to yourself or PM it to trusted friends and associates if you feel very inclined to share it and discuss it. I got a chat group who keeps a lid on things so we can discuss among ourselves freely but not everybody has that. Though some information I wouldn't even share with all of them. Best to use caution with sensitive information.

Personally I think DeMarco flips out over nothing with a lot of this schedule info getting out earlier than he wants but sometimes a leak can cause problems for a company. So I try to respect his wishes if I come across something myself. They don't tend to make us wait too terribly long before they say something themselves. It must be very frustrating to plan a surprise and then have careless individuals ask them to verify if a schedule change is real or not. They hate dealing with that and I don't blame them for hating it.

Yeah... As much as I hate it, I can understand his reasoning. It sucks to go through all the crap and organize everything only for it to get leaked.

I think he's a reasonably nice guy, and I don't see why tweeting him has anything to do with the schedule. He'd find out anyway if someone leaked the schedule.

When we're talking about not-final info and thus info that's likely to be inaccurate getting out, leaks are even worse. Really, what difference do a few days make anyway? Might as well talk the schedule when we know that we know something.

In the case of the Beware the Batman time change that was a thing were signals got crossed for a short while and I don't blame people for assuming the info given to World's Finest was correct given the source, and things were clarified pretty quickly. I imagine they've done what they've done in part to help avert that kind of mistake from now on, which is fair enough. As for the change itself, I wouldn't read too much into it. It's a minor change, One Piece took a momentary hit after being moved forward a half hour and then got back to normal, and really what kind of numbers are really realistic to expect between 2 and 3 AM? Lagoon isn't the first more "edgy" adult cartoon to be on Toonami 2.0 (recall Deadman Wonderland and Akira at the very least), and I doubt it will be the last.

Thought this too like others here. Would be good to play since they've played the first 2 already, then in the future play the 4th. I'd imagine it only being played once, which for me would be enough.

I didn't know they did that before. I recall a decade ago when [as] lasted 11p-2a that when the night was over after animes that played, they did give at least a list of artists used for the bumpers.

Minor heads up. still planning to do Space Dandy talkbacks, the s2 premiere thread should be up sat evening hours before broadcast after I am at home after visiting with family this holiday. If something goes bad with travel, I'll give plenty of notice so someone can pick up ep 14 in my stead. Highly unlikely though.

Hmm. After I got back I posted the thread at about 11:30 (ugh, traffic) and then ended up fading sometime after midnight while watching the block live, so I'm not sure. I could have done something that triggered a technical hiccup, I'm just not sure what that would have been. I made the thread on a machine other than my usual PC that had some connectivity issues at first, but I definitely remember seeing it go up and reading through it. Hmm. Maybe somebody pulled a Cosmic String? Looks like one of my fellows did a thread merge and stuff is all there and together.

If there's a next time I'll either be sure to have a thread 100% done in advance or just pass it off altogether the day before. Easier for everyone!

I watched the first three episodes of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders dubbed on Crunchyrolls. The ads didn't cause the video to skip ahead like they did the last time I tried to watch a series on the site. It was really good and I would love it if the series could air on Toonami. It would fit really well on the lineup and would be a good replacement for Bleach once they finish airing the rest of the series.
