According to Jason DeMarco, Eureka Seven will continue airing regardless of Bandai Entertainment going out of business. From what I hear, Adult Swim continued airing Samurai Champloo for a while after Geneon went out of business too.

Makes me wonder what will happen to Cowboy Bebop once the current rights expire. If they do expire, it could be gone for good. I still wonder how long ago the rights were last renewed and how many times they must have renewed them.

That's true. If they really intend on burning off the show, then I could see Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood getting another run in the 1:30 AM slot while Eureka Seven gets the two slots at the 3AM hour, since Fullmetal Alchemist has been performing better.

DeMarco has also stressed that new shows will always be the priority. Of course, Bebop might be the exception since its adored by the network, has high replay value and is THE gateway anime series.

I don't know if Fate/Zero would work, since they'd have to dub it, and then they'd have to keep that dub off the market for a few years because of the way they're currently releasing it.

There's only one show that comes to mind right now...and we all know what it is, since it already has an English dub.

Fate/Zero won't work until it gets an English dub, and who knows how long that'll take, and that's if they decide to dub it.

I think the obvious choice is Blue Exorcist, but I'm kinda hoping for Madoka. I can dream.

I don't think it really costs them much when shows switch licensors. FLCL did that.

Madoka for Toonami would be awesome. I've already seen the series subbed on Crunchyroll, but I'd all for seeing the English dub on Toonami, especially when I can't afford the DVDs to see the dub for myself. Considering how well the movie screenings are turning out so far and the fanbase for Madoka in general, I think that the series would have a good chance of getting some nice ratings for the block. I don't know if they would have enough money to get the series considering their budget, but the fact that Aniplex is asking for fans' opinions on the matter does make me think that they could possibly work out a deal with them to make it work.

Since AoA seems to think they're still in Japan, and based on Durarara!!, I don't think they'd be charging Toonami as much to air their stuff as you might think. That's the Japanese model: Pay the stations to air the show to advertise for the overpriced home video releases the fans will have to spend all the money on. Now, they're probably not going to pay Toonami to air something, but I wouldn't be surprised if they charged significantly less than other companies that charge significantly less for home video releases.

I;m pretty sure that just because Funimation has an idea of which future shows they'll air doesn't mean they've already signed contracts for them and it's all written in stone. Sure the next couple of new shows will still probably be from Funi, but if their being offered Aniplex's shows I'm pretty sure they'll eventually air them, just to have a bit of variety.

A new show joining up the lineup does sound possible, especially when they could have put another show after Brotherhood instead of another episode. It's probably more likely to be a show that's already aired on Adult Swim like Durarara than a new show. I don't know what the chances of Brotherhood getting a third run, but they might want to give the series a full Toonami run depending on how well it does in ratings and if they have something else they can air instead.
