I just looked up that show and it doesn't really sound that interesting. I was kind of hoping that they would air something like Durarara instead. Maybe the schedule will change with something different.

But he also told us that the extra hour is nothing to get worked up over. I think Off The Air is actually scheduled to air.

...really? Off The Air is what they're going to show in that extra hour that night will have? Why don't they just show an encore of the new Bleach and Samurai 7 episodes or something. This seems really stupid.

True, but like Macattack said, DeMarco is a fan of suprises. In August, Cowboy Bebop was initially on the backdoor schedule for past the 11th and DeMarco's twitter posts indicated that it was going to stay also.That's why it was suprising when Eureka 7 replaced it. So perhaps there is something special scheduled to air in the extra hour and he just wants fans to have low expectations in order for what's really scheduled there to be suprising.

If there is, I think that it would be "sneak peaks" of future Toonami shows.

Even if Off the Air really is scheduled on the third, it won't be on Toonami. Rather, what I'd expect them to do is take a break in the middle of the block that night for Off the Air's hour. Besides, it's not like Off the Air is joining the block or anything. [adult swim] is just repeating the same stunt they did on that night last year. That is, if Off the Air is actually going to air.

If they want a random comedy for that hour, Perfect Hair Forever would make more sense.

The backdoor schedule updated, and Off The Air is airing in the extra hour... I was expecting anime to air during that time, but oh well.

Yeah I had to look the date up, and it's Daylight Savings.
Thought it was a bit weird but hey, this might just be a one-off thing.

If the hour is actually going to belong to Toonami then I'd rather have them air an action cartoon instead of a comedy. But yeah, Perfect Hair Forever would be a good choice if they give the hour to regular [adult swim].

Well Off The Air has become their standard for DST filler but I was hoping they'd do something less expected for that hour now that Toonami runs then. I would not rule out a surprise but I wouldn't rule out OTA airing as scheduled either.

It'd be funny/awful for various reasons if FUNi let them air 2 episodes of DBZ with dvd promos like on April 1st xD But they likely wouldn't because it would potentially anger people.

Well, at least that would fit with the rest of the block. I'm not sure if I'll be awake during that extra hour though, but I'll be able to at least read some episode summaries if I can't stay awake.

I would love to see that, but with Marvel being owned by Disney, I don't think it's likely.

I'm one of the few fans of the Wolverine one. I haven't seen X-Men and Blade.

I really wish AS would make the Toonami block available on demand, I work like every Sunday and its hard to stay up and watch. Also wouldn't it get better ratings if it was on demand
