Does anyone else find it odd that the backdoor schedule, TVGuide.com, and Zap2it.com show no episode titles for Cowboy Bebop for the next two weeks? All the other shows have their episode titles listed. Also, all Cowboy Bebop episodes have been removed from Adult Swim's website. The last time this happened, Cowboy Bebop was listed as a placeholder for Eureka Seven. Could tonight's special be the first episode of a new show to join the lineup?

I wouldn't mind seeing Fairy Tail on the block someday myself, but not any time soon due to the fact that they already have three long running series on the lineup. While I like Fairy Tail, we don't need four slots to be locked up for a long time right now.

Did it need to be mentioned? I thought that was made painfully clear. That's one of the questions being answered in every single Toonami Q&A since they started doing the Q&A on a monthly basis.

I honestly didn't really get what was so bad about the failure of Megas XLR that made CN "write it off". I thought it was just CN being stubborn morons, but nope, they asked the government to repay the losses, so airing it would be a federal offense. I thought "write off" was just figurative.

Should be noted they were subtly making fun of the people requesting Fairy Tail (in another ask, they specified the reason they typed the name incorrectly as "Fairy Tale" was because that's how most of the requests have been spelling it). I really hope that means it's not one of their top priorities to acquire it, if it comes off to them as much a "poor man's One Piece" as it did to me. They have real One Piece.

Also they confirmed they're not getting Panty and Stocking. I guess if you really want the show to air, request AS Comedy pick it up, since it seems like a case where they decided it didn't fit Toonami.

Hey, considering all the racy stuff they air (racy as in, they'd give [as] a run for their money), it'd be right at home. In fact, I'm surprised I didn't hear any suggestions that the show could air on CC sooner. Besides, Viacom at least has some relationship with FUNimation.

I'm fine with that. From what I've seen and heard, Panty and Stocking really didn't look too appealing and I don't think it would fit Toonami either.

I don't that is far to call it a poor man's One Piece. Fairy Tail is more like Rave Master than One Piece. And there are difference, the Strawhats are a bunch of out laws constantly being hunted ty the marines, while the Fairy Tail guild is a legit law abiding guild, who can walk around freely without having to worry about being chased around by the rurin knights and the magic council. Yeah Gildarts is a rip off of Shanks, but that is about it. Everything else, is not like One Piece didn't rip off somebody.

As for Fairy Tail's popularity, like it or not it is as big as the Big 3, I have been on certain sites that have their own manga rankings for english speaking fans, Fairy Tail is always near the top of list, if not on the top of the list at times. (BTW, is the most popular manga on most of these lists is Naruto, it is not One Piece, it is Naruto that is the champ) Not to mention the DVD sales, Funimation was only going to license more episodes based on sales and they already licensed the whole series, so it must doing something right.

Speaking of which, I see just as much similarity in Naruto as I do One Piece in Fairy Tail. In Fairy Tail, they are broken down into teams, and they go on missions. The Strawhats don't go on missions, they are not split into different teams at least by design.

Taking a wild guess here, but I'd heard CN (as a whole) wrote it off, so that makes me assume only CN/[as]/BOOM can't air it. So another network like Nicktoons or Disney XD could potentially air it, cause none of them ever had the show, which means neither of them would have any reason to write it off.
