boo! tell the higher ups to stop being cheap. rerunning a 366 episode series is expensive but its better than rerunning the same 26 episode anime ad nauseam.
I don't think that they're being cheap. Since they're still not getting paid, it most likely means that they still don't have a large budget to play around with. Either that or it's still difficult for them to get shows from Viz Media due to their prices. I didn't think that they would rerun the whole series anyway, but just get the first fifty-two episodes or so like what they did with Naruto. Since they couldn't do that, I think that they just weren't able to get it. Considering how long Bleach has been on Adult Swim, one would think that they would be open to the idea of giving it a rerun slot after it finished, especially when it has been doing pretty well ratings wise.
I figured that DBZ Kai would start at midnight. It would help them to potentially get good ratings at the start of the block after Bleach wraps up. I would have been fine if they put it on later, but I didn't think that was going to happen. I enjoyed IGPX and FLCL, so I'm happy to hear that they'll be on the block again at some point. Attack on Titan getting another run is a bit of a surprise. With its performance, especially during that marathon, I thought that they'd at least go for another marathon for the second half of the series. I am surprised that Bleach isn't getting a rerun. I thought that it would get the Naruto treatment with airing some of the early episodes for awhile, but since I've never cared for the series, I'm fine with that.
I liked most of the movies they aired last December, so hopefully they'll have some good ones for this year as well. I honestly don't care if they're all from Funimation. While getting movies from other licensors would be fine, it doesn't really matter to me as long as the movies themselves are good/enjoyable. I would like to see Sailor Moon on the lineup, although at this point only the new dub from Viz could air on the lineup anytime soon, and I wouldn't mind checking out Kill La Kill. I absolutely hated Sword Art Online, so I would greatly prefer if they didn't get the second season. I wouldn't be surprised if they did simply because the first season did so well and they usually try to get some of their most requested shows. I'll just avoid the show like the plague if that happens because I do not want to make the mistake of sitting through another show that I absolutely hate just because of my habit of sticking with a show until it finishes.
I'm also fine with Young Justice not airing on Toonami. While I would like to see more DC shows/movies on the lineup, I also thought that Young Justice was really overrated and had far too much on its plate to do it well, especially with the second season, so there's no loss there in my opinion.
