"Unknown" games that you enjoy

Brave Fencer Musashi (My favorite Square game ever)
Silent Bomber (I'm still having problems getting a good copy)
Double Dragon 2 (People seem to forget about part 2)

Disciples series
Freedom Force series (get done with BioShock and start working on Freedom Force 3 Irrational, please)

Arkista's Ring - a very, very obscure game made by Sammy in the late 80's or early 90's. This involved you playing as a sexy elf archer out to retrieve a town's ancient ring from an evil Shogun and his army of ninjas and monsters. It was a quaint little game but a little too short and pretty tedious as you had to win the game four times to get the true ending.

I would also like to add

Dune Battle for arrakis (genesis)
Dune 2000 (pc)
Emperor battle for Dune (pc)

I only know about 3 people who have played them.

I have Dune: Battle for Arakis for Genesis, too. It has some of the best sound samples for that system. You're the only other person that I've heard of that has the cart. I've also got the semi-sequel Command & Conquer for the Saturn. But then who doesn't? :D

Breakdown (Xbox) and Freedom Fighters (Xbox)

Man those two games were great.

I also enjoyed Freedom Fighters for the X-Box. It's a very cool game. The "angelic choir" background music nearly drove my S.O. crazy, though. She's always be like, "What are you playing? Again?!" :D Have you ever tried the multi-player? That's fun, too, as long as you have an even number of players. We tried it with three players once and the odd-out always got pwned by the duo.

Ristar for Genesis!

huh... that's it for really 'unknown' games really...

well there's Konami Krazy Racer and Pac Pix that could count I guess.

Drakengard (aka Drag-on Dragoon). Very little known Square-Enix game (probably because it was advertised around the same time FFX-2). Confusing plot line and kinda recycled battle system, but I really love the game, if only for how obscure the story and characters are (the "Wave of Babies" ending, por ejemplo)

The Golden Sun series is also little known, from my experience. I bought the first game on a whim and fell in LOVE with it. Amazing graphics, amazing story, amazing [insert other things of the amazing kind here].

I have both Golden Sun games and I would LOVE to see a sequel on the DS! It would be so cool!!!

Guardian's Crusade for the PS1: A simple short RPG mixed with Tamagotchi-ish monster sim in which you play as a Knight who has to deliver a pink baby dragon home as the story unfolds into something bigger. Aside from standard RPG fare, you have to treat your Baby with respect by feeding it, get it to fetch, talking to it during battle, etc. so it in return will help/heal you in battle and generally warm up to you (if you mistreat it, it'll mistreat you).

It's not the next Final Fantasy, but the game is charming, which is what I ultimately like about it.

So would I! Or maybe even something on the Wii. I'd love to see the game fleshed out in deserving graphics.

Oh, I forgot another game: Psychonauts.

Threads of Fate, for the playstation. it had interesting characters and cute design, plus, the playable characters really had an entirely different game play style which made your second run thru the game feel unique.
people should show more love for this game.

Dragon Seeds - Playstation.
Made by Jaleco

Great game, I loved it.

Space Station Silicon Valley and Rocket: Robot on Wheels for N64, if those two count.

I would say that I enjoy the Bust-A-Groove games. I don't see enough love going around for those.

Does Klonoa 2 count?

also: Freedom Fighters and the Dark cloud series.

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
