Why Did You Choose Your Current Avatar Version 4.0

I have switched to Julia from the 2023 reboot of Total Drama Island since she's my all-time favourite character from the reboot and one of my absolute favourite Total Drama characters in general.

I'm going on a defense of Cocomelon.

Contrary to popular internet belief, it's really super harmless. Parents may use the show as some sort of digital babysitter and not limit their kids' screen time, but that's not the fault of the show itself.

it deserves to exist and shouldn't be as hated as it is.

I changed my avatar to this picture of Patrick, Squidward, and SpongeBob. I’ve been rewatching the show lately and when this picture showed up I thought it would make a good avatar once Halloween is over.

I've not ever done Sally Brown, so here's Sally Brown for Christmas and winter!

Changed mine to the snowman from the title card of the Daffy/Speedy toon Snow Excuse (I don´t like that toon very much, but I thought that the snowman looked cute and appealing so I decided to change my profile pic to that).

My last avatar was of Eleven (or "El") from Stranger Things, taken from promotional artwork for the Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales mobile game.

Now that Stranger Things (at the original series) is over and I can look back on it as a whole, my opinion on El has been lowered a bit by this. I now rank her just outside of my favorite characters.

While I still love Millie Bobby Brown's portrayal of her, in hindsight, I feel that at times she almost more like a plot device, or at least like as a supporting character despite being the show's most famous character, particularly in this season
even though it's all but directly confirmed she did survive the destruction of the Upside Down, her goodbye to Mike is still a rather weak moment
.

Though, as a tribute to her and ST, I changed my user title to "Friends don't lie", since I still want to carry that motto on through thick and thin.

So, my new avatar is Bleu Finnegan from Chynna Clugston Flores's comic book series "Blue Monday", which definitely deserves more love.

It's Yua Serufu from Do It Your Self. It was a comfy show and fun to rewatch, Yua is fun.

Another Noivern pfp, this time for the 30th anniversary of Pokémon campaign.

Also, off topic, but I also changed my signature to the Yu-Gi-Oh! inspired quote, as I'm currently fascinated on the YGO anime hexalogy rn (Rush duology doesn't interest me that much. Cards are fine tho), and StuGo is pretty much over, so that would be the perfect time doing it so.

I changed mine to this AI image of Squidward dressed as a monkey because when I first saw it, something about it really stood out to me. Like it doesn’t even look like AI and if I dint know any better I would think it’s a screenshot from the show.

To mark his 75th birthday on the 17th March, and also just coz I like them, it’s the UK’s Dennis the Menace and his dog Gnasher (a more sprightly 58 years old) from the front cover of their 1997 Annual. The image is a sentimental favourite, as I received the book for my 10th Birthday in December 1996, but also the best image I could find of them at a cursory glance.

For those who don’t know Annuals are a type of picture-heavy book in (mostly) the UK and Commonwealth that come out in the lead up to Christmas and carry the date of the following year, primarily marketed as potential Christmas gifts for children, with the idea, I suppose, being that they should hold some interest for them through much of the following year. They are probably most famously associated with Children’s Comics like Rupert the Bear, The Beano (Dennis and Gnasher’s Home), Jackie and The Dandy, but there are also Annuals that are tie-ins with TV Show, films, music acts etc. As with most things literary they were bigger in the 20th Century, but they are still around

Because I was always watching videos and being fascinated by the EMD SD75M’s/SD75I’s pulling trains on the BNSF/Santa Fe in the mid to late 90’s (1994-2003) so I decided to not only model a Intermodal Hotshot in HO Scale from that timeframe, but used a picture with the same locomotive that would be on the head end pulling the train.

Since I favor multi-unit operation, It’d be something like this.

1. EMD SD75I Diesel Engine BNSF Fakebonnet #8276
2. EMD GP60B Diesel Engine SF Warbonnet #326
3. EMD SD75M Diesel Engine SF Warbonnet #235

Since it's April Fools Day, I've decided to pick Izzy from Total Drama since she's one of the craziest and most chaotic characters in the show.

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
