Unkown at this point, but highly likely.
Assuming more episodes are ordered, how long does it typically take for a cartoon to go from conception to finish? I'm assuming we won't be seeing any new episodes for close to a year ...

It varies a lot...depends on how many animation teams, how fast the writers work, when the networks want them, how many episodes, etc.

I wouldn't count on seeing any new episodes until this time next year, at the earliest.

They havent even touched the Phoenix stuff or Mr. Sinister.

Things aren't looking good..

I wasn't talking about CN. If CN wants to renew X-Men Evolution they'd first have to purchase the full rights as opposed to mere syndication. It's doing well, but CN may feel they have enough programming already targetting that demographic (such as Teen Titans).

I'm talking about X-Men Evolution's future on Kids WB. It doesn't look good. I have slightly more than a hunch that XME will be replaced by Teen Titans on Kids WB, and I mean more than temporarily.

Oh ok. So is it unlikely that CN will pick it up?

It's really not known what CN will do. Evo does get very good ratings on CN, though. Depends on what WB does and what CN execs want to do. CN will get the rest of Season 3 very soon, though. Maybe CN and WB will co-produce the episodes or something. It seems like if CN ordered new episodes, WB would want to show them at some point.

I don't know about Teen Titans replacing Evo permanently though. That would mean they couldn't really show new episodes, and a lot of people would have already seen them.

I don't think they're (the WB) going to let this series go just yet.

I think the seasons have been getting steadily better in terms of both writing and animation/production with each successive one. And I believe the ratings are there to back that up.

In a recent interview appearing on the Comics Continuum website...

"A fifth season would be great, as I feel this series just keeps getting better," Kirkland said. "These characters are rich with potential. We still have many great stories to tell. Whether that will happen, is in the hands of Kids' WB! and Marvel. Hopefully, we'll know within the next few weeks."

Rock On, Mr. Kirkland ... Rock On!!!

there's still one X-Men film in the making so the forecast for Evo or a follow-up series are quite good. It may not be as immediate as we'd want it to be but perhaps by '06 we'll have our mutants back.

however, as a bitter fanboy( :D ), i'd be very cross if CN didn't pick up this series...seeing how they commissioned Big O2.

Mr. Sinister could always show up if Apocalypse's plan does happen.

i really hope it lasts longer, thought it'll probably be replaced by TT, since 4th season doesn't have any more eps to
give. :(
however, if they don't commission a second season, I'm going to chain myself to something and refuse to leave until they make more eps. :D

It doesn't matter that it has not beed touched. Both Boyd and Greg have said that they will have no plans to go into either of them. They said that it MAY change if there is a season 5.

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
