So, I've gone on another nostalgia binge, checking out a lot of the Disney shorts from the 50's, and Silly Symphonies. Surprisingly, my favorites of them are the ones that don't feature the iconic trio.
Anyway, one of my favorites is Ben & Me, mainly because it's one that I grew up with. It's actually my first exposure to American history, even if I had no idea who Benjamin Franklin was, watching it when I was 5. Back then, it was just a cute story about a mouse helping out some guy named Ben. But, as I grew older and watched it again, it's hard not to laugh, seeing that it was Amos who was responsible for what made Franklin a historical figure.
