1/9: Minor roles "70’s Car Girl #1" (Monica Mathis) and "1970’s Scientist / Lab Worker" (Miles Webb) added to cast list, reigniting those time travel theories. Could still be something conventional like a flashback, imo.
I have a feeling they may wait until Captain Marvel comes out for that. Either that or later February as tickets usually go on sale like two months before the movie is supposed to come out.
Curious who Steve, Natasha, Bruce, and Rhodey are looking at. Seems they are standing outside the New Avengers building on the lawn. Captain Marvel I’d guess.

As someone whose seen a lot of films, if the film is entertaining and engaging the watch through it’s run time the length is not as much of an issue. Seriously there are some 90 minute films I’ve seen that feel like they go on forever and feel far longer then a 2+ hour film so I’m fine with this being 3 hours. Marvel has more then earned having one of their films be this length. I mean were people complaining about 3 hour films when Lord of the Rings came out with one every entry of it’s series back in the day? Thus why should that be such an issue here.
Look like they’re re-empahsizing the MCU original six .
Also kind of fitting that this movie being the "last hurrah" we have some classic elements of the Avengers’ costumes making their debut…Iron Man’s yellow arms and legs, Cap’s chainmail, and Hulk wearing purple .
I’m kind of surprised they didn’t work in Widow’s circle belt from the comics, but they might be saving that for her solo film .
I really like how this scene sounds…but yeah, as someone who has seen Captain Marvel, this arguably contains mild spoilers (or at least implications) for the ending of the movie.
I think we knew there was another trailer coming but still glad it’s not revealing anything other then well more the main group of people left coming together (obviously saving Steve and Tony really meeting up for the movie) and a bit more of Captain Marvel (I wonder if that bit with Thor was chosen to try and shut people up who say Brie Larson apparently doesn’t get along with the other MCU cast members) as well as montaging other moments from the MCU while chanting that "not us" mantra. Feige seems adamant on keeping that promise of what we’re seeing just coming from the first bit of the movie so really curious what the rest is but I can wait the… month something to see that for myself.
I like that we got more action in this trailer, and yet it’s still as vague as ever. Showing footage from older movies definitely pulls at the nostalgic heartsrings, and gives everything a "has come full circle" vibe.
Also, I knew they’d add Captain Marvel in this trailer somewhere, since this was released after her film came out. Looks like she and Thor may get along.
No Sam Wilson aka Falcon was snapped but Rhodey isn’t as even at the end of Infinity War you hear Rhodes calling out for Wilson after the battle with Thanos. I kind of get it though as I’ve sometimes mixed up the… what’ the nice way of saying "supportive smary military trained black best friend" that both Iron Man and Captain America have (as does Captain Marvel… technically the same is true of Black Panther and… Heimdall was one of Thor’s best friends… yeah it’s a pretty common trope in Marvel thinking about it) but yeah Rhodey made it as again half of the main cast was taken out while the other half wasn’t. Who of course we know we’ll see in some form in Endgame but again I am glad Marvel is playing like the focus will just be on the ones surviving… which is hindered by having Far From Home advertisements out but eh Marvel’s kind of stuck due to their deal with Sony in that regard.
Though that is good of them I do kind of hope that means that Danai Guirria/Okoye is then going on this… I’m guessing trying to kill Thanos mission with everyone else. I mean you can’t say "oh she’d be too weak" if they’re taking like Captain America and Black Widow and Hawkeye along as she’s easily at that level. Granted she wasn’t with the rest of the team in that ending shot but neither really was Tony Stark so it could just be an editing thing for some reason. Since I assume the people credited above are the major cast for this mission. And considering like half of Wakanda including the king was offed you can’t really go with the excuse "oh she needs to stay behind for her land" or something like that. Guess we’ll see but if she’s on the poster and now is being credited as one of the major names kind of hope that means she’s on the mission.

Yeah, I feel like she wouldn’t want to leave Wakanda, especially in the more vulnerable state it’s in. Also not sure how buddy-buddy she is with the other Avengers.
I’m kind of disappointed the walking shot of The Avengers didn’t have the Avengers Trinity leading the pack, but that still was an awesome moment to end the trailer on, and we can still speculate what the scene of Tony, Steve, and Thor’s reunion will be like .

No, that film left alot of people shocked. But they had mostly questions, like Leia being Luke’s sister when she went back. Is Lando gonna betray them again. Is Han dead? Why did Obi Wan lie?
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, "Avengers: Endgame."
Even though it’s a small thing, I’m glad they included Wasp here since she wasn’t dusted in Infinity War, but in Ant-Man and the Wasp. It’s a nice attention to detail thing.

Oh there’s a reason for that: the creative team knew Ant Man and the Wasp was going to be shown AFTER Infinity War and didn’t want Wasp’s first appearance to be a minor part about a movie with a dozen more important things happening. Thus why though there was an idea to have Ant Man and Wasp in both Civil War AND Infinity War only Ant man showed up for the former and neither were in the later. I think it works though since now that Wasp is set up having her in Endgame (since we know all the snapped Avengers will appear in that film we just don’t know HOW) will feel more worth while then her cameoing before having a full movie.

We don’t know though if Cassie was dusted. Honestly I don’t think she would be as from the first trailer when Scott arrived at the Avengers Mansion he would be a lot more bitter or angry or sad appearing to them if that were the case.

I have a feeling nothing happened to Cassie and the family. Seeing that tiny snippet of Scott walking through the neighborhood, and looking at what I can guess are Missing People flyers, makes me feel that he’s coming back to the regular world as though he just woke up in 28 Days Later. It probably took him a little while to figure out how to get out of the quantum verse on his own, and now he’s coming back to a topsy turvy world. It would already be pretty shocking for him to have lost all of the Pyms just like that. If he had more losses, he might be in a similar state as Clint seems to be.
LOL this is pure speculation and none of it will probably matter in the actual movie.

Hard to say, take with a grain of salt because there’s those random red carpet Q&As when they ask the actors. I’m curious if he and Ghost survived as well. But I suppose Scott showing up at the New Avengers compound indicates it’s going to be up to Bruce, Rocket, and I guess Tony, damn Hank’s hatred of the Starks, to integrate the quantum tech into the big plan.
Look, Happy’s graduated to full solo poster status .
I get why but it’s kind of weird to see them conflate the dusted heroes with the ones who were actually killed off since we know the dusted heroes are going to come back while it’s more vague on Loki and Vision .
I will say that the movie is definitely unique in tone. It has its own spirit that’s different than Infinity War, which is why I was keen for us to separate the movies. Of course, we’re handing off narratives and it’s been serialized over 22 movies. But, it’s different tonally than Infinity War and it is told from a different point of view. It was important for us in our minds as film directors to separate those two because we do not want to make the same movie twice, and ways that you can differentiate films are through tone and point of view.

I’m curious to see who else can wield it and survive. I think Thanos did because he’s from an older race? So maybe Thor can? Or could the original Wasp because of her quantum ability? In any case, I’m thinking Captain Marvel can and will because she is part Kree and
In the Infinity Gauntlet storyline Nebula is the one who brought everything back to normal. I find it funny how Karren Gillan had no clue at all how big her role would be when she first signed up.

Even if they made another Vision, they had to stop the memory replication mid-way through. Not to mention that the chief scientist doing the procedure is now confirmed to be dead via those posters. Also it’d still be something of a spoiler for him to come back at this point.

I don’t think they ever concretely confirmed how much of the process Shuri got through before Corvus showed up. She might have gotten enough to accurately recreate Vision.

Fair enough. But would they even know how to implement it? I mean I guess they would with Banner (then again maybe not since Shuri is smarter), but would they have even been able to find it after Shuri died? Then again they found Fury’s pager of all things, so what do I know.

New Minute Promo ad is out which does contain some more footage so spoilers of it below
Biggest things here are a bit of Steve and Tony reuniting (sure there will be more but eh I think I could of waited to see any of that actually on screen) and the group getting together to literally go after Thanos and the Mad Titan himself making an appearance. Again I’m sure that was always going to be part of their plan and there’s probably more to it but again feel like we didn’t need to see that but eh with how much mysteries the rest of the movie still have guess they still have to throw some new snippets in for these teases.
Cool of Marvel to release more footage on the day tickets go on sale.
Nebula and Rocket. Aw…
Loved that shot of Iron Man, Cap, and Thor approaching Thanos. Seems like that’s back on Earth? I think the popular theory is it’s the New Avengers base that gets totaled.

Looks like we’re going to see a pretty direct "taking the fight to Thanos" with the team seemingly going into space to hunt him down, unless it’s a misdirect and it’s all really in the Quantum Realm .
Finally showing Iron Man’s new armor .
That scene of Pepper and Tony reuniting and Nebula and Rocket consoling each other over losing the Guardians…the feels .
I don’t know what shot got me more hyped, Tony and Steve shaking hands or the Avengers Trinity walking towards Thanos .
I never see a movie on opening weekend, but I’m worried if I don’t schedule this right, I might not be able to see it until over a week after its premiere, and it’s going to get really hard to avoid spoilers at that point.

I usually tend to see a new film on opening weekend, preferably opening day. The exceptions to the rule have been Black Panther (an anime convention resulted in me having to wait until Monday to see this), Aquaman (didn’t watch it until a few weeks after release due to Mary Poppins Returns, the start of a chronic illness that’s been bothering me this past winter, and another convention), and Shazam (with a lot of things going on with my family and this weekend being Wrestlemania, I opted to hold off watching it until Monday, although I’m still tempted to see it today).
In the case of Endgame, this is shaping up to be a film where it’s a wait and see for me (with spoilers definitely helping in whether I’ll be watching this or not). After someone posted Infinity War spoilers on another board I read the day before it came out in the US, I was very reluctant to see that film (even if I did buy a ticket for it), and when I did see the film, I was not happy in how the ending was handled (preferably who lives and dies at the end). With all the trailers for Endgame not really doing anything for me, my interest in this is nowhere near some of the other Marvel movies when they came out, and thus I’m currently on the fence with this one.
Ya know, the more I look back and how looking at a 2 hour programming non-stop gives me a headache, the more I wonder if I’m really willing to sit through a 3 hour movie with no intermission. I mean yeah, it’s Avengers Endgame, but I remember needed to use the restroom when I saw Age of Ultron 10 minutes in, and that wasn’t fun either.
Maybe I’ll wait to rent it, and accept spoiler leaks. We already know some characters will be brought back, due to Spider-Man: Far from Home coming out.

It was something talked about but never fully put into commission. And honestly I’m fine with 3 hours. I mean there weren’t any intermissions in the lord of the rings movies and those were all 3 hours and even if you totally hate the MCU you have to admit that if you watched all the movies you have much more emotional attachment with every character then in LOTR due to knowing what all of them are about. So if this wants to be a three hour epic I’m down for it. The franchise has earned this massive time investment IMHO.
Very atrocious. Yeah, seems like Disney, ABC, and the LAPD have to adjust security measures. Anything from more officers, a police escort for the stars, to extending the area they monitor outside the studio.
I find it infuriating the fact that the media hounds celebrities so badly and gives our elected leaders a total free pass. The only times the media actually tries is when they are harassing celebrities.
I find it infuriating the fact that the media hounds celebrities so badly and gives our elected leaders a total free pass. The only times the media actually tries is when they are harassing celebrities.
I think the reason that the media isn’t shown lately going after high level political figures is that stalking or going after the President and members of the cabinet and the like is generally considered more of a crime and if you are shown chasing after the presidental limo YOU WILL GET SHOT AT AND PROBABLY DIE. Like as scummy as papparazzi are they aren’t stupid enough to after someone who will shoot them back thus going after celeberties who don’t have that same level of protection. It is totally unfair and yeah the fact this kind of thing is still happening is so troubling but that’s why Scarlet’s right on how incidents like this need to be reported and known about so people can DO SOMETHING about it. You know have more laws passed and make these sort of stalking incidents not possible anymore.
No, it’s because the media is obsessed with stupid crap that doesn’t actually matter. Reporting the actual news would involve work on their part beyond shoving a camera in somebody’s face. Instead Scarlett Johansson gets assaulted. Neat.
Why haven’t we seen Captain Marvel in the suit yet?
I imagine she must have a pretty small role since Captain Marvel filmed around the same time as this. Possibly even getting killed since we have a shot of the Avengers on a ship without Tony, Scott or Gamora.
Mod Note: There are reports that parts of the movie have leaked on mediums such as social media. This forum does not allow the posting of leaked material or the discussion of the content on this leaks. Thank you for your understanding.

They really used that archival footage and dialogue very effectively. Really does feel like a long-form, cohesive, saga .
I got a kick out of them using the Incredible Hulk footage .
I wonder if they’ll try to spin a new Trinity, marketing-wise, as much as they did with the Avengers Trinity. Be interesting to see…
I like that Peter shows up during the "The world…is changing" bit, if only because it makes it seem like he’ll end up being a major player or pivotal character moving forward compared to how he is now. Of course that is also probably dependent on Sony and Marvel .
So Dr. Strange’s line really was foreshadowing
.
1/13: War Destroyer move rumor again.
1/16: Two from the cast post from reshoot. (spoiler!)
Well, I’d put that on the level of knowing ahead of time that characters who have been Snapped will still be in the movie…
Hawkeye going back to a bow and arrow was indicated by production shots, but I’m not sure how I feel about shaved head Thor
.
I think Hulk where’s the Quantum Suit better then Thor does
.
At this point they can show as little footage as they want. Toys will leak everything else
.
Katherine Langford posted a selfie and it’s speculated it might be on the set of Endgame.
At least they’re not doing another interview together again
.
Community cameo for the win
.
I wonder if Frigga could project herself like Odin could…
Ken Jeong for Avengers Endgame? oh boy
Ah, I forgot about him. He appeared in the scene when Tony demonstrates a hologram recreation of the last interaction with his parents.
2/1: Another possible spoiler from LEGO.
What the heck are they fighting? Dragon-things
?
I like Steve being at a support meeting for people dealing with the Decimation event…and that scene of him strapping the shield back on
.
It kind of looks like Thor is back on Asgard…and what is he holding
?
Iron Man and Nebula…the most unlikely of duos
.
Agreed. What could still be salvageable on Asgard at this point…
Or…maybe Tony’s ship actually makes it to Earth? Although I think that’s what Rescue ends up doing
.
Debris
?
Or is Thor in Wakanda? Or some Asgardian site like in Norway?
I feel like Thor’s storyline is eventually going to tie-in to Norway somehow with the seeds in Ragnarok
.

Aw man 3 Hours is going to take a long to watch the Whole Movie
More promotional artwork.
I’m so down for that.
EDIT:
Looks like an official synopsis for the movie was released.
I feel like Marvel Studios will need to be really careful with how powerful they make Carol, so to avoid inconsistencies and power creep

Pretty much what one would expect, although the "consequences" line is probably a tad worrisome

True, but it could also be a clever misdirect on their part
.
Huh, Thanos appointing himself "ruler of the universe" was…not really what I was expecting him to do after Infinity War, to be honest
.
Given that summary here, it continues my belief that it was a dumb move
Kinda wish the mask covered his eyes like the comic suit…
2/26: Feige confirms the title was indeed first seeded in Age of Ultron.
There’s also articles around claiming Serena Williams spoiled something major during the Oscars but just to be safe, I’m not posting any link.
I didn’t even remember that line
.
Although I think the fact that Infinity War started out as a two-parter kind of spoiled how things would end up
.
Me neither. Though I haven’t rewatched it in awhile.
I really like how this scene sounds…but yeah, as someone who has seen Captain Marvel, this arguably contains mild spoilers (or at least implications) for the ending of the movie.
3/7: The real spoiler is this movie is just 3 minutes long.
3/8: Russo Brothers reveal they’ve locked the final film edit.

Is that Steve, Tony, and Thor saying the "Whatever it takes line?" I can hear Steve and Tony…
I also think it’s fitting since Ant-Man is going to play a pivotal role here, so it makes sense to reference Hope
.
I’d appreciate it if he remembered the other Pyms too
.
I thought it was Steve twice then Tony.
Of his daughter… lol.
We don’t know though if Cassie was dusted. Honestly I don’t think she would be as from the first trailer when Scott arrived at the Avengers Mansion he would be a lot more bitter or angry or sad appearing to them if that were the case.
And there are the theories we’ll be seeing an older Cassie in the movie…
LOL this is pure speculation and none of it will probably matter in the actual movie.

Wasn’t there some kind of rumor confirmation he might be in this? I maybe forgetting
.
Good point.
Look, Happy’s graduated to full solo poster status
.
I get why but it’s kind of weird to see them conflate the dusted heroes with the ones who were actually killed off since we know the dusted heroes are going to come back while it’s more vague on Loki and Vision
.
Joe Russo comments on the tone of the movie again
I’m sure they’ll find ways to bring back the characters Thanos killed. Maybe they can use the Gauntlet to do it.
I’m curious to see who else can wield it and survive. I think Thanos did because he’s from an older race? So maybe Thor can? Or could the original Wasp because of her quantum ability? In any case, I’m thinking Captain Marvel can and will because she is part Kree and
(if you didn’t see Captain Marvel yet).
I’ve also seen theories that the six original MCU Avengers will somehow connect to their being six Infinity Stones.
Good use of the dusted heroes (and Vision and Gamora) in the foreground below the Avengers
.
Plus surprise Valkyrie
.
Oh yeah. That’s right. I wonder if someone who is essentially all cybernetic bypasses the ‘rules’ of using the stones.
Ironically Gamora is also probably the thing she loves most in the world
.
Gunn listed as Executive Producer.
The movie featureStan Lee’s final cameo.
That’s definitely going to be an emotional one
.
Nebula and Rocket. Aw…
Loved that shot of Iron Man, Cap, and Thor approaching Thanos. Seems like that’s back on Earth? I think the popular theory is it’s the New Avengers base that gets totaled.
EDIT: Yup, Endgame has already broken two presale records.
Looks like we’re going to see a pretty direct "taking the fight to Thanos" with the team seemingly going into space to hunt him down, unless it’s a misdirect and it’s all really in the Quantum Realm
.
Finally showing Iron Man’s new armor
.
That scene of Pepper and Tony reuniting and Nebula and Rocket consoling each other over losing the Guardians…the feels
.
I don’t know what shot got me more hyped, Tony and Steve shaking hands or the Avengers Trinity walking towards Thanos
.
Now Thanos just sounds petty
.
I expect a new clip/teaser
.
It’s gonna be a long one
.
Well I don’t know if i’m going to see this on Opening Weekend or Not cause i’m working
I misread this as 3 hours and 58 minutes, and was utterly shocked.
Seeing how the presales literally broke ticket sites, yeah I’m also worried. Gotta stay off the internet for a week, I guess.
3 weeks teaser.
Costumes on display at press junket.
A new report of exactly how much time passes between Infinity War and Endgame.
Final battle featurette posted.
Sounds like it’ll be much more official then "Nomad" was…even if they never say the name out loud
.
4/7: Comments from RDJ.
From Evans.
From Gillan.
Directors say no one guessed the ending yet.
IW stakes will payoff…
The movie is done and 100% locked as of Friday night.
Official rating is PG-13 for "sequences of sci-fi violence and action and some language."
This movie is Stan’s last cameo.
More promo art.
Maybe I’ll wait to rent it, and accept spoiler leaks. We already know some characters will be brought back, due to Spider-Man: Far from Home coming out.
I thought they were going to do an intermission for Endgame screenings?
Here’s an Avengers endgame sneak peek.
Now that I think about it, doesn’t Thor basically go on space adventures with how they worked out the Nine Realms? So at least there was Thor…
I would say the Guardians were basically the Avengers of space but that’s never really been what the MCU team was, in all honesty
.
Not that they seem to get along well here
.
First part of story they broke was the ending.
First part of story they broke was the ending.
4/9: Johansson had an incident with paparazzi after the Kimmel show Monday night.
Jeez, that’s pretty awful. I hope something is done there
.
It really is. 25 years after Princess Diana and this is still happening.
Q&A with the cast and crew. Possible Spoilers.
EDIT:
Renner’s portion from Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Little on the nose there
.
Looks like we’re going to be getting some split teams, which should lead to some cool dynamics
.
Rocket is already more impressed with Cap as leader then he ever was with Quill
.
I imagine she must have a pretty small role since Captain Marvel filmed around the same time as this. Possibly even getting killed since we have a shot of the Avengers on a ship without Tony, Scott or Gamora.
There’s no proof she joined their team, just allied with them, imo.
Basically a Black Panther situation
.
And a look at the UK-exclusive posters for the movie
4/16: Final trailer released.
New poster released.
They really used that archival footage and dialogue very effectively. Really does feel like a long-form, cohesive, saga
.
I got a kick out of them using the Incredible Hulk footage
.
Of course that is also probably dependent on Sony and Marvel
.
RDJ and maybe Chris Evans were the only actors to read the whole script.
New tv spot
Natasha with halfway hair is…interesting
.
Seeing Steve and Tony together again…all the feels
.
