Around $10 for a single Animaniacs/Tiny Toon character spotlight DVD is better...
But it's not going to happen. Why are you obsessing over this?

This time, I strongly agree with you.And it would be an insult for single disc character volumes to be released - which would most likely include cartoons we already have - when a show like Animaniacs is one volume set away from completion. It would be pointless and - to me - infuriating.
Single character sets make sense for Looney Tunes and Disney shorts because of the amount of cartoons produced. People may like bugs, but hate coyote cartoons, and dont want to invest in hundreds of dollars to do so. But for shows like tiny toons and animaniacs, theres just not the huge amount. Fans would like a huge complete collection. Such things may not be possible for looney Tunes and disney shorts, due to the investment involved.
Then think about what characters would get these shorts. The warners, slappy, goodfeathers, pinky (which already have their own), mindy (whod buy that), and the rest (which wasnt that many). While TTA would be difficult because there are very little shorts where its just buster, just babs. Theyre costars. Then the rest. a Furball set? (even if you combined sweety that wouldn't work) Plucky? (maybe since he sorta had his own show where it was basically that) but Fifi? no. Shirley? no. Dizzy, no. It just doesnt work, even if the current sets were completed.
Unless you made your own bootleg DVD copies.
I still see Tiny Toons Volume 2 in my local Target store, and Animaniacs volume 1 at my local Barnes and Nobles (they might have had Volume 2 on Animaniacs too, but I don't remember). The Animaniacs DVDs I saw in stores were expensive, like 44.99 or 39.99).

They have had sales of sets that weren't moving and piling up in the warehouse, but even with the sale prices, those sets were still cheaper elsewhere. This is exactly why people don't buy anything from Barnes and Nobles' Movie/Music department. They practically have everything at the regular MSRP, the price that it was originally at when it first came out. I don't ever recall a time where I see anything in that department go on sale or get reduced. I'm sure there are some times, but I can't seem to recall them.
