Still like people in the 80's wanted their MTV, I want my Fairy Tail, I want to watch with 30 second OP and ED, with the commercial bumpers edited out, I want to watch FT in all its edited glory. Another point, every series that are high on the reguest list is eitther on Toonami or will be soon. Every series except for Fairy Tail. People that wanted Atttack On Titan got what they wanted, people that wanted Dragon Ball Kai will get what they want, when is it going to be Fairy Tail's turn?

I'm not sure why you want to see Fairy Tail in its edited glory. Cutting down the opening and ending themes to thirty seconds and removing both the commercial bumpers and previews isn't really anything to get excited about. I've seen a good chuck of the series and while I find it pretty entertaining and enjoyable, I could live without it being on Toonami. I don't think it really needs the exposure or attention, especially compared to other series. Besides that, not every series that are high on their request list has been on the block. As Matt already pointed out, neither Kill la Kill or Jojo are going to be on the lineup anytime soon and both were pretty high on their request list if I recall correctly. Attack on Titan is ridiculously popular, so of course they'd go after that before Fairy Tail, and of course they'd jump at the chance to air DBZ Kai to appeal to the nostalgia crowd.

Kill La Kill hasn't gotten it's turn and it deserves it way more than Fairy Tail. Same with Jojo. Either of those would be suitable additions to the block. FT isn't really needed. I'd rather they have Magi be on the block over FT. Plenty of shows are out there that would love to be on Toonami and aren't saddled with the burden of 100+ episodes and questionable quality. We have Naruto for that for the long term.

After seeing the first three episodes of Stardust Crusaders dubbed, I'd love to see Jojo on Toonami. I don't know if they'd need to air another series before that one, but I'd be up for checking a different Jojo series out if they had to do that. I've heard some really good things about the Magi manga, so I'd be up for checking out its anime adaptation. I've heard a lot of good things about Kill la Kill, so I'd be curious to see if it does live up to its hype, or at least if it does more so than Attack on Titan. I like Fairy Tail, but I agree that it isn't really needed for the block and they already have three shows long running shows on their lineup. They really don't need another one.

I do have a hard time telling when someone is being sarcastic in person and online. Still, I don't really see the need for Fairy Tail to be on the lineup. It doesn't really need the exposure and there are enough long running shows on the lineup as it is.

I do agree with you,While Fairy Tail is a great series and the characters are very memorable,I don't think it needs to or is ready to be on Toonami.Also,I sometimes think if Funimation is trying to make the whole block full of their anime licenses.I know that Toonami is not an anime block,it is an action block.I still feel like if Funimation has goal to fill Toonami with their shows.I know it sounds harsh.Don't get me wrong,Funimation is a great company and their dubs are top-notch.I think Viz and Aniplex should convince Demarco to add more shows from them since Viz just has Bleach and Naruto Shippuden and Aniplex has Gurren Lagann on Toonami.

I don't think that it's a matter of Funimation trying to make the whole block full of their properties or that DeMarco needs to be convinced to add more shows from Viz Media and Aniplex. I think it's more like Funimation is more willing to work with them in regards to the price for their shows compared to the other companies. I remember one of the responses to a question about Final Act that gave the impression that Viz was asking a lot for it. While the block's budget has improved from when it was first revived, they probably still don't have a lot of money to work with, especially when I think that none of the people working on Toonami are getting paid still.

Plus, they have said before that after one show ends, they want to replace it with another show from the same company. That's why after Black Lagoon ended, Hellsing Ultimate replaced it since both are owned by Funimation.

Here I thought SD Season 2 would get an encore run since Season 1 did only because of the wait until S2.

Very happy that GITS:2GIG will be on as well as the return of Big O, even if it's S2. Wonder how this fares for the 5am hour since SW:TCW was a helper there.

I heard that fan-service filled shows weren't welcome on Adult Swim, so anything ecchi would be out. That might also mean no Kill la Kill.

i want to see it on the block too. maybe after hellsing ultimate ends they'll show it. a lot of the funimation shows aired since neo toonami began have been pretty lackluster imo. hopefully that changes next year.

the new schedule is pretty good. but what i'm really waiting to see is the november 8th schedule. dbz kai is practically guaranteed on that date but what will the new viz anime be? i'm thinking inuyasha the final act, sailor moon hd or tiger and bunny. if they decide to air reruns of titan hopefully its during 3:30 or later slot. and bleach better get reruns. i'd rather see that during the graveyard hours than repeats of ghost in the shell, big o and fmab for the umpteenth time.

I could live perfectly fine without seeing an ecchi series on Toonami. Heavy blatant fanservice really isn't my cup of tea.

Out of those three, I'd prefer Sailor Moon or Tiger and Bunny. Even though Sailor Moon would be another long running show on the lineup, I think I'd prefer seeing it on the lineup over Fairy Tail due to the series being unlicensed for so long and I think the new dub would warrant more exposure than Fairy Tail does. I'd like to check out Tiger and Bunny since I've heard good things about it. I'm not sure if they'll keep Attack on Titan around for reruns, although I guess that's possible after how well the marathon did. Bleach will most likely get a rerun slot. I'd be fine with it leaving the block for good, but I wouldn't be surprised if they aired the first fifty-two episodes like they did with Naruto.

Well this is interesting - Beware the Batman is being pulled, as is Symbonic Titan:

Bad news: We JUST (like, hours ago) found out from our legal department that Beware the Batman and Sym-bionic Titan are being “written off,” financially, as of now. Therefore, after this weekend neither of those two shows will be a part of Toonami again, unfortunately. What’s the good news? Welp, because we hate to bone you Bat-fans by simply yanking the show, we’re running ALL of the remaining unaired episodes THIS weekend from 2:30a-6a, for one last Bat-blow out. FYI, Hellsing fans: that means we skip Hellsing this Saturday, but don’t worry- it will return next week at an earlier timeslot!

Beware the Batman...lived a hard life. That's all I can really say, it was a hard existence for it right to the bitter end.

Well that's a huge shame about Beware the Batman. I've been really enjoying the series. I'm not sure how I'd rank it compared to other Batman series, but it is quite good and it definitely deserved much better treatment from Cartoon Network. It should have at least gotten a second season. I appreciate that they are airing the rest of the unaired episodes before they lose the series for good. That's really nice of them to do for the fans, especially at such a short notice. I wouldn't be able to stay up that late to see everything, but hopefully they'll be available On Demand or Adult Swim's website afterwards. If not, then I'll just go to iTunes for the rest of the series. I still hope that airing Beware the Batman opens up more possibilities with DC movies and/or shows.

It's disappointing that they're losing Sym-Bionic Titan too, but I'm more upset about Beware the Batman due to how it was treated worse by Cartoon Network and it had new episodes to air. I was hoping that they'd be able to keep Sym-Bionic Titan for good though. It's really too bad that whatever legal issues for both shows sneaked up on them like this. I'm sure that they didn't want to lose two shows unexpectedly like this.

I wonder how they'll handle the schedule for next week. They have two free slots that they got unexpectedly, so I wonder if they'll throw in some new shows that they weren't planning on including until later. They might just double up on reruns if that would be easier to manage at such a short notice.
