The Hunt sounds good. So two thoughts immediately come to mind: either it's a ruse, or this is where the Light make a play to undermine the Reach.

"Write-in campaigns never work." Except for when they do!

I can't believe there are still people out there who think they can "save" a show after being canceled with petitions or other such nonsense.

Haven't we learned by now that 90% of the time that when a show is canceled, it stays dead? Haven't we known that CN canceled all their shows prematurely? Didn't Marvel fans just go through the same thing with Spectacular Spiderman and X-men?

I remember this ridiculousness when Justice League and Teen Titans ended back in 2006. And before that B:TAS/S:TAS and Batman Beyond.

Seriously, why do people go through this same exact denial every single time a show gets canceled? I understand people are upset and I am too, but again, we've gone through this countless times in the past already.

I was far too young to take part in the write-in campaign that saved the original Star Trek. However, I was part of the movements that got new seasons for both Tean Titans and Disney's Kim Possible, so I know that they do work at least some of the time. Even if the odds are against us, it is still worth a try!

On Clone Wars: The smart money says that Clone Wars isn't so much canceled as it is moving to Disney XD. That's been the rumor ever since Disney acquired the Star Wars franchise.

one way is what I've been saying this whole time, the reach betrays the light and so the team gets captured and so Lex sends the team in to rescue them so they can help the light against the reach

or

some gallactic idiot tries to take over the world the team gets captured and lex sends in his team to "show the world" it's all good buy some more Reach products

I have strong reservations about this season. Greg and Brandon spent most of last season convincing us to care about their six leads. Yet, in season two, those six leads are off-screen most of the time. Is seeing Wonder Girl, Impulse, and Blue Beetle cool? Yeah. But do you know what would have been even cooler? More eps about Kaldur, Wally, and Artemis.

I'm just hoping to see something similar to Graduation Day for the series finale.

In terms of writing campaign, I would like to see the effort directed at having another Earth-16 project, mainly because it's almost impossible to bring a series back from cancellation once production has ended. An alternative would be to have the show syndicated on Vortexx in replacement of the rather old Justice League. This would at least help Young Justice Legacy sales. Otherwise the game is dead on arrival.

I'd be happy if he was doing DTVs like a Superman/Superboy one. A Bat-Family one. Wonder Woman/Wonder Girl. A single story that explored how those teams came together.

Somehow Conner and Clark worked things out. Somehow Barbara joined Tim and Dick. How did this Cassie join Wonder Woman? I'd totally go for DTVs of these.

We know Clone Wars isn't being canceled, the Sixth Season is already in production I believe, anyway it getting a sixth season was confirmed months ago.

as for Young Justice, I mostly just hold some hope that a big enough campaign can make WBA think that they could make a profit off some DTVs set in the universe or something.

again I say it is stupid that they base a sucess of a cartoon show off toy sales, I don't buy toys I'm 35 years old. (Not to say others don't do it but most toys are geared towards younger kids)

I'm 33, I'd have bought some in stores had I seen Superboy on a toy isle. I, like many, balked at the 9.99 for a tiny toy but for Superboy I paid it from TRU's website.

I'd have grabbed every Green Lantern figure but retail passed as they were still clogged with the movie's line. I wished they have done them as online exclusives like MotU, or the DC subscriptions.

Speaking of coincidental tie-ins, Mattel made a JLU Guy Gardner figure, which I got in the 3 pack with blue Batman and light Martian Manhunter. Too bad those sales didn't count.
Mind you, JLU toys has been going on years after JLU did, so maybe toy sales aren't everything.

That's possible. I was hoping the same would happen for The Brave and The Bold since that show played with teasers and openers that ranged a minute or so like these shorts.

Cartoon Network was fine before CW and YJ because they used to nurture animated shows (like 70 some episodes of Justice League). Now they're going after the lowest common denominator comedy rubbish.

...What? There was a two year gap between JLU ending and CW beginning (2006-2008).

I bet you haven't even given AT and RS a chance.

Like I said I know others my age that have bought some and honestly I have a couple (quite literally a couple), I fi find my favorite character on cleaance or something, the only young justice toy I've ever bought (or seen) was this past Christmas on clearance in a toys r us outlet store. It was Flash and Kid Flash together so I got it (It was only $5) I guess parts of those two figures plus parts of other character figures get put together to form Amazo.
I have a coupl o Justice league plsuhies because they are cute (the ones with the big black button eyes). But honestly I'v never seen any young justice toys before that and I live in Los Angeles for crying out loud no tin some small area that might not carry them.
But a toy line does not a show make.
Breaking Bad, Homeland, Moden Family all sucessful shows all do not have toy lines, why does this have to have a toy line in order to be deemed sucessful?
Why not put something out there for the adults clearly they see their demographic is heavy in the adult department. They finally came out at Hot Topic with a young justice shirt (the only one I can find) and it sold out in a week! What does that tell you?! The need to put something out there for adults as well. Marvel does it. I have a ton of Marvel and Avengers shirts, heck I even have Justice league and Batman, Superman shirts (I live near a six flags and they carry aton of DC Justice League stuff I love it) It's just....sigh...crazy. I know a lot of people are saying we can't bring it back etc and maybe not but Toonami was brought bacjk, Family Guy was brought back. I has happened before and not by just sitting idly by either. So support the petitios to try and bring it back if it doesn't work then it doesn't work but if it does......


I would personally love a direct to dvd of young justice, especially one focussing on the five year gap and what happened how they introduced more heroes to young justice, how they moved past the events of justice league vrsus young justice, I can't imagine that was easy for some of them to have to fight their mentors. and all that stuff. I would LOVE it.

The only cartoons I can even think of that were revived in the same format (as in, not a reboot or alternate take), after cancelation was Family Guy and Futurama, and those are adult themed comedies.

Whenever superhero shows get canceled, they reboot them when they bring them back. Hence why everytime Batman and Spiderman return they're entirely new series and a fresh take rather than a continuation of an old show. And for the record, no "Teen Titans Go" does not count as a Teen Titans revival.

Of course it's not. It's just a different spin on the original show which I'm OK with.

This makes no sense to me as well. It is a show on teen issues featuring teens mentored by adults who collectively face primarily adult villains, yet it needs to rely on toy sales to kiddies while mired in a kiddie time slot?

Make money off clothing, video games, apps, things that the 13+ crowd will buy that will support the show.

Which is something they could do if it wasn't for one thing. Advertising also costs money too.
