I don't think you should ask that question it can curse things to spiral out of control lol.

I knew somebody already will say yes color me shocked (sarcasm), but as for me so far I don't think, so but this show it's his own beast even if its geared more towards kids than every body.

Does anyone think this show could end up being better than EMH with just a bit more episodes and improvement in regrades to the animation and writing?

No, not really. But that shouldn't stop them from trying.

If between now and the day I die there are, say, 5-6 different Avengers animated series, I'll probably still like A:EMH the best of all. It's not like any show could ever make me look back on A:EMH and say "That's no longer good." But I have been enjoying this new series; as long as they keep up the quality I've seen, I'll be content.

I am definitely getting into MAA. I loved Red Skull and Dr. Doom's interaction in the previous episode and I liked the interactions between Red Skull and Dracula in this episode even more.

P.Sketch, that is an inevitable question that you have asked. I think of it like this: people are going to like what people are going to like.

Look at people's varying positions on X-Men animation projects. There is no uniformity or consensus (among people who are interested about such things) about which series is the best. Some people strongly feel that X-Men TAS is the best. Some people feel strongly that X-Men Evolution is the best. Some people feel strongly that Wolverine and the X-Men is the best. Some people might love the X-Men anime miniseries most of all. [There might even be other X-Men animated series that people love of which I do not know about.] Some people like many aspects of each of those series.

Also, think of people's positions on who or what was the best anything. There will always be debate.

I highly rate AEMH as a great animated series. I can also see myself getting to the place where I rate MAA above AEMH. It is not surprising that some people already say that MAA can never be better than AEMH. It is also not surprising that some would state definitively that MAA will be better than AEMH.

The obvious answer to your question is: of course MAA can be better than AEMH.

My personal opinion based off of the MAA episodes that have been shown so far, is that if MAA keeps up this style and quality for a number of episodes that at least approximates the number of episodes that AEMH had, then my position will be that MAA is/was better than AEMH (and I will still love AEMH).

Good question.

If they improve the art and animation, it could (at the very least) become equal to A:EMH. For example, the 80's cartoon BIONIC SIX is fondly remembered by many fans of animated action/adventure cartoons from the 80's NOT because the show always told deep epic serialized stories, but because the art and animation was great (and because it had a few decent stories and character moments in a few episodes).

Nothings impossible. It could but it's not going to at this rate so long as the show runners hold on to their current mentalities on cartoons & viewers. And keep the show in the shadow of the movies instead of allowing it it's own individual identity. And on the new episode, I thought it was another solid episode, with the same unimpressive attempt at humor. Still waiting for a great episode to air.

This show really does seem to get better with each episode. A few good gags and some fun good action as well. The Hulk's blood being able to cure vamprisim does seem like a cop-out, but hey, whatever works!

But in a way doesn't the Hulk's blood lethal? I mean the guy is pure gamma radiation.........whatever works for them i guess....

The version that cured Widow was a synthetic version though.

Hawkeye: "It's not going to turn her green right?"
Iron Man "No... I don't think so... maybe"

No the exact quote but I got a good laugh out of that dialogue exchange.

Better animation in this one.

Other than some of Hulk's behavior it was pretty good.

Well as Sketch mentioned Iron Man and Hawkeye did reference the risks behind it. I highly doubt that'll be followed up on though (as it's clearly intended to be a joke), and . . . well, I wouldn't exactly be thrilled about Black Widow-as-She-Hulk anyway. Though I'd take that over them continuing to robotically follow the movie.

This wasn't a bad episode, but it continued to follow the usual patterns for the show. Way too much happening without a chance to breathe. Some of the jokes were mildly better this time, though.

Okay, maybe this show is getting into its groove a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing new villains attack the team (like Dracula here) and then in the season finale all come together until Red Skull's command to try and take them down. Because that'd be EPIC.

I liked Dracula's backstory with Captain America and his motivation. Plus the atmosphere was creepy and cool. We got to see both Dracuhulk and Hulkula in this one. It did kind of make me think of that Ultimate Avengers arc with Blade and Hulk becomes this vampire king and Captain America has to fight a bunch of vampire heroes. I liked the resolution Stark came up with in this, but sometimes I wonder why can't magic just be magic? I mean, yeah, it's otherworldly energy that has its own laws, but I'm getting sick of phrases like "Asgardian Science".

the Iron Man's take on Sturgeon's Law was reasonably thought out.

Which part was that?

My one complaint is that Dracula was part of the Allies in WWII - that means that Baron Blood likely doesn't exist, and if not, then Spitfire and Union Jack probably don't as well. Oh well, minor thing (although if I wanted to write around that, I would say that Dracula created Baron Blood to fight the nazis, but that Baron Blood went to the Red Skull on his own to help him break Dracula's hold on him, and thereby become a free-willed Nazi vampire as part of the supernatural arm of the SS. That could be great fun to watch Baron Blood work for the Red Skull, who would use Baron Blood to betray Dracula and usurp his power for daring to stand against him in WWII ).

I completely forgot we saw Dracula in the pilot and for a split second at the beginning of this episode, I thought this was going to be about Baron Blood. But yeah, I guess this means he doesn't exist, but I see no reason why they can't use Union Jack and Spitfire.

Dracula was pretty cool, though I couldn't help thinking of Drizzit from the Dark Elf trilogy whenever he was on screen.

He kinda looked like Oberon from Gargoyles to me.

It would take a lot more than "a bit more episodes", but it is possible. I will say, though, it has surpassed Avengers: United They Stand, for whatever that's worth.

*chuckles* So has USM.

I enjoyed this episode and in some spots the animation was beautiful. This show is not there yet but it keeps improving.

To be fair Stark didn't come up with a resolution. They just got lucky that Hulk's radiated blood was just too much for the vampirism. So I think Dracula and his vampire minions are still supernatural and not Sci-Fi beings in this show. Also I think they make stuff like "Asgardian Science" and what not a thing so that it's easier to merge all the heroes different worlds and mythologies into one, somewhat cohesive universe.

True, but because Capt. Speedbump mentioned other Avengers shows, it made me think about comparing this to the previous ones.

Yeah, I'm fine with the cohesive movie universe, but since cartoons are allowed to be a little wacky and out there...let them be wacky and out there!

It's official: I have now preordered GTA VI for PlayStation 5; the more expensive and feature-complete Ultimate Edition of the game, that is. I also intend to buy a PS5 Slim optical drive next month(?) in the hopes of maybe indirectly convincing SIE to reverse its controversial plans to go all-digital on all post–Jan 2028 PS console games, even though GTA VI is a digital-only game.
Happy anniversary to "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout".
