Thursday at 5:00p/4:00c!

Mystery Girl
premieres
TONIGHT at 5:00 PM

This week...

Clarence finds a friend accidentally while making prank calls.

Hmph, Clarence's first serious relationship with a girl. Not bad. He and Bella have good chemistry.

D'awww, Clarence and Bella's first meeting in person is so adorable.

Heh, Jeff and Sumo's handshake reminds me of this:

Excellent episode, one of the best. Funny, charming and endearing, plus it continues to capture childlike wonder and behavior. Plus that ending...just wonderful.

Looking forward to more of Clarence and Bella.

This episode was very touching to me. I'm not sure why. Also I was expecting Bella to be something like in a wheelchair as a plot twist. Actually when I first saw her I thought she was going to be blind.

It pretty much failed to entertain me despite of the confusion, we finally know what Bella look like, he pretty much met a new friend and the way Jeff and Sumo I felt when Clarence is more focused on Bella, it pretty much what I find wrong about the episode .

70/100 C-

It tried,
Better luck next time.

I enjoyed the crap out of this one, admittedly - I want to rank it God Tier, but I must show caution and rank this with High Tier; unless these writers can do something continuously good with this new budding friendship between Clarence and Bella.

Now, I actually can see that Clarence & Bella have good chemistry; however, I'd trust these writers more if they were just best friends first. Kinda like how Steven and Connie (SU) started out. I'm not a fan of making that comparison, either, honestly.

If this revisited anytime soon, I hope that these writers know well enough they gotta tackle it slowly and carefully, with good chemistry & character development on all sides. I say this, because what will Sumo and Jeff think of this? How well will they take this if it's brought up again?? These are things that need to be dealt with - a bit complex & somewhat difficult for a show this simple - I really hope they don't screw this up, is what I'm saying. This show has enough trouble gaining and keeping fans for itself...

The writters, or at least Spencer Rothbell, who is the head story, have been extremely vocal about not wanting the kids to have relationships I believe, I'm honestly more worried of this going the Amy Gyllis route and Bella never coming back again than them taking this too fast between Clarence and Bella.

Now, can't I just talk how much I ADORED this one?, I don't know if it would be objectively the best, but I can't say that there has been an episode as touching and emotional to me in this season. It started pretty funny but more like a normal ep, but Clarence's and Bella's phone relationship developed in a very charming way. There's also Mary, every one of her lines, as always, was pure gold.
I enjoyed the ending so much that I don't even want to talk about it.
The minor characters development has been pretty slow in this show but has been finally taking shape in these last two episodes, so I think, that if it's done right, it might keep growing into something really special.

Seriously, @Freav - I almost wouldn't mind Rothbell breaking his rule if only to develop this relationship further - this badly needs more than one episode. It really does - even if I still feel that they're a little too young, unlike Steven and Connie (SU), but I digress.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more, I like that they don't really want to involve the kids in relationships, but I sometimes get annoyed by the fact that the show tries to evade continuity to a certain point (there is some, of course, but it's either very slow or related to Josh, which obviously isn't the best thing). There is so much potential here after this episode and I don't really want it to be wasted (which it actually might).

Enjoyed this episode, was kinda experimental (with the whole thing being a phone conversation), without being completely out-there
Did not expect to actually see Bella

As far as Amy goes, seeing how she was bvrought-up here, the point of her episode was that she was leaving town, and it was her last day
seriously, re-watch that episode

Well saw this on twitter...

Bella IS coming back, right? she's not Amy 2.0?
Spencer Rothbell said:
she could ... we haven't written her into anything else tho

Of course...

Well, I expected it, but this is still kind of a bummer. At least it's not a 100% chance of her never coming back I suppose.
