Disney owned DiC when Toon Disney launched.

Oh wow, yeah after Disney bought Capital Cities/ABC that finalized in 1996.

I'm wonder if Disney's acquisition of Capital Cities/ABC that led to hybrid of Disney Channel and later, transitioned to basic.

DiC stuff is owned by Wild Brain, who doesn't seem to mind to selling rights. Pluto TV, Roku Channel Channel, and Tubi benefit heavily. That's why Inspector Gadget has a channel on Pluto TV now.

Some members think that DiC is hard to acquire and I don't think that is true, so had to wait and see.

Some shows including Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, Double Dragon, Street Sharks, and Extreme Dinosaurs were originally co-owned by Bohbot Entertainment/BKN, and are now co-owned by EMBA Media Associates internationally and 41 Entertainment in the U S. 41 Entertainment's website actually claims "United States Linear Television rights reserved exclusively by 41 Entertainment LLC" when it comes to Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog.

Well yeah, it's more that it's not a hard power struggle in most cases . There are , of course, outside cases.

Some members think that DiC is hard to acquire and I don't think that is true, so had to wait and see.

They already have Inspector Gadget, for example, I'm going for I hope they do "The Littles" but again Most DiC stuff is not hard except for how much is wanted for payments etc. There are somethings made by DiC that would be hard because of reasons, but that happens.

If theyre airing sonics Christmas blast i imagine aosth is a pretty easy aquisition(and possibly satam and underground as well) considering the license is often lumped in with aosth dispite being made a few years after both satam and aosth ended production(toon Disney often aired it when they had aosth dispite never airing satam)

As established a few posts above, the linear TV rights to AOSTH are separate from even Sonic Christmas Blast (which aired on USA Network separately from the AOSTH Bohbot syndication package). SatAM is a possibility though.

"MeTV Toons has announced special programming for the holidays. Starting tomorrow, the network will be airing four hours of holiday themed cartoons every Saturday leading up to Christmas. The programming, which will air under the name ‘Tis the Season for Toons will begin at 4 P.M. and go until 8 P.M.. The network also has Thanksgiving and Black Friday specials planned and will announce more information on those soon. This WILL be a make or break season for Me TV. Boomers and pretty much all the family, LOVES Christmas specials and movies. And these always do great for Disney so I dont see why the success wouldnt come to Toons.

Yes, I noticed that. Also, Weigel added extra episodes on other networks like MeTV, H&I, MeTV+ too.

Today parts 1-4 of the "Mucho Loma" arc of Rocky & Bullwinkle aired. These episodes were skipped for the first run through and the episode guide on the website listed them as "can't air", so I was very happy to see them show up. When the last parts air next week, all episodes of Rocky & Bullwinkle will now have aired on the network.

However, these episodes were very noticeably sped up and playing at a much higher pitch. So it looks like they were playing PAL prints of these episodes, which sticks out given that none of the other episodes have that format. I can only assume that the prints of these episodes come from a different source entirely than the rest of R&B's episodes, especially given they initially didn't seem to have the rights to air it at all. Very curious to know what exactly was going on with that, but I'm happy these episodes made it to air nonetheless, even under these circumstances.

Apparently KEJR-LD in Phoenix has switched MeTV Toons from the Eastern Feed to the Pacific Feed, so now all shows are 4 hours later than they were last week.

Super Friends has now reached the "Challenge" era, and has now gone to two half hours. "Challenge of the Super Friends" was originally a one hour show, with the non-"Challenge" episodes later shown by themselves with the "All-New Super Friends Hour" opening (these episodes are basically the second season of "...All-New...", but with the "starfield" scene-change sequence).

Incidentally, is it just me, or does The Cheetah act more like The Catwoman in this show?...
