International Nickelodeon Thread Part 16

Nickelodeon Israel also aired music videos to fill the time back then (they even had a little MTV in them as they aired Road Rules and Daria)
The N also aired music videos to fill the time as they had no ads (they even had the screenbug appear during them, classifying them as programming, just like Nicktoons and its short programming)

TeenNick US has also aired music videos before I remember they aired a music video of "Don't Let me Down" from "The Chainsmokers" back in 2016.

YTV has also aired music videos too in the Nickelodeon era. The one I could is that they showed a music video from Justin Bieber titled "Mistletoe" during the split screen credits of Home Alone 4 (2002), which caused backlash because this was during the Bieber hate craze of the early 2010s, according to YTV Schedule Archives.

Speaking of music videos on international Nick feeds, Nickelodeon Latin America also used to air songs from Generation O! (which here, was on Disney Channel) as music videos:

Turns out the Sticker look used by Nickelodeon feeds in Poland, Spain and MENA was originally made for the channel's Asian feed in 2006:
How everything is connected in the Nick ecosystem, I think Nick NZ kinda used that when it launched? But then again I must be wrong, before rebranding they used a silver fern version.

Nick Europe aired music videos in 2009–2010 and in 2012–2013.
I remember the full video to the iCarly theme song in the summer of 2009, before the feed switch

The Portuguese ad subfeed of Nick Iberia used to abuse Freak the Freak Out (karaoke video from Victorious) on long breaks, as well as Como Perro y Gato (from Sueña Conmigo) in 2011. Man, I preferred commercials instead

Is Nick NZ the most mysterious Nick feed to ever exist? There is barely anything at all online from it.

Yeah, it existed for four years (2006 to December 2010) before they decided to shut down the Auckland office as they came to terms with the fact that New Zealand is a small market.

Ewww AI... I noticed it too with Nick LAM. No one says "La Semana Próxima" instead of "Próxima semana", plus it sounds way too robotic to be Patricio Lago

Now Asia is getting this AI announcer too
Only used for this week's The Loud House promo so far
I'd assume (and hope) it's an error

Don't directly assume everything is AI - as I mentioned earlier, the translators might have changed which could be the reason for him saying it like that

And while I do think he sounds slightly robotic and bored, we'll have to see how the next few promos turn out in order to determine whether this voice really is AI or not.

And speaking of NZ, its interesting that I was able to find airdates from archived press listings from Throng.co.nz (using the WayBack Machine). Mainly the SpongeBob ones that aired before in the United States.
"Goo Goo Gas" on February 13, 2008.
"Yours, Mine and Mine" and "Kracked Krabs" on April 1, 2010.
"Gramma's Secret Recipe" and "The Cent of Money" on May 28, 2010
"The Abrasive Side" and "Earworm" on October 14, 2010.

When did Nick Netherlands start dubbing live-action shows? (Other than the English night blocks) I know iCarly premiered in early 2010 right where the subbed version left off in late season 2, then older episodes were dubbed in reruns as well. (Not completely sure as Wikipedia says this but the Dutch dub wiki and DubDB say the dub was already airing in 2008) while AFAIK every show afterwards was dubbed as soon as their premieres.

I think in Scandinavia, they did the same as DC where initially, live-actions were subbed, then the big hits got dubbed as soon as they premiered (in this case, iCarly), then over time everything was dubbed.

It's not Ai. This feed always makes mistakes with the promos you can take a look at The Marsupilamis promo.

Fun fact. In the Russian dub of The Loud House, they only have three people doing the voices of all ten of the Loud sisters. These people are:
Anastasia Lapina as Lori, Leni and Lola
Natalia Frankova (later replaced by Eva Finkelstein) as Luna, Luan, Lynn and Lily
Larisa Brokhman as Lucy, Lana and Lisa

Maybe he's disheartened to see the channel he's the voiceover for became very little more than a cheap, malfunctioning FAST channel a few months short of its 30th anniversary (?)

Most of Season 1 was dubbed by five people only, with two other actors being Lina Ivanova (as Lincoln) and Radik Mukhametzyanov (as all male characters).

Nick Russian dubs were best in the 2000s and early 2010s: the Art Dub era and the Ukraine (they definitely outdo actual Ukrainian-language dubs from the same time) era. When they returned to Russia, which is around the same time (or slightly before) The Loud House premiered in Russian anyway, the quality seemed to drop a lot. I think SpongeBob is the only exception only because the dub (by way of the show) is "iconic"/whatever.
