The excitement is in the weird programming. Not so much, but at least it's limitedCN LA seems to be just as autopilot as the US (I mean they don't even mention time slots anymore) with a mediocre branding too

Oh, CN Africa, I pine for youwhy is CN Africa left out the conversation though? it's a very good feed and I don't see people talk about it nearly as enough you can call it bias because I'm also African but still
I mean for example they're the ones that start the whole CN classics roll out on the first place even if they don't air it anymore
And don't forget Spain as well since aside from the first season, it only aired in Catalan and English on Super3 and also Portugal (since it aired on RTP2 and the now-defunct Biggs channel although the fifth season did air on Cartoon Network there) too. That said, the only Western European countries to air TDI on CN are the Netherlands, the Flanders region of Belgium, Portugal, Greece (both through CN EMEA in English) and Scandinavia.WE can’t have TDI because the show was exclusive to Teletoon+ in France and K2 in Italy and never aired in Germany.
in an Ideal World if they had more money they could do that but welcome to realityYeah, Cartoon Network currently has a hopeless aura around the world, and it doesn't have a unified coordination too
first to answer your question about CN Africa I think they stopped airing the classics block at the start of this month I believe it's a temporary measured though and the schedule still miles better than CEE and even a bit better than WE at timesThe truth is that no Cartoon Network channel is "perfect" anymore. Not even the US. Every feed has many flaws, some more evident than others.
At this point, I can say about CEE that it is slowly improving, but has A LOT to catch on to its WE counterpart. And yes, part of the reason is their stubborness to get that CN Classics block already.... Even if they would get stuck with the same first seasons for all the shows, it would still be sufficient for them to finally get a big hold of themselves.
CN WE also isn't as great in the variety as it used to two years ago, the launch of HBO Max in all the catered markets made the schedule to look as repetitive as CEE. Not as bad as them, but still, it's getting there. The only goof thing at the moment is some more extra shows, plus (obviously) their night schedule. At least they have Looney Tunes Cartoons, which our feed can really air regularly if they saw more potential in the show.... Both feeds also have those Looney Tunes Show clip fillers, why is taking them so long to put the show itself on the line-up anyway? (cause I suppose that would be the logical reason why they made those fillers in the first place).
And still, I've said that already a thousand times, I know, but I will put it in another light: Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo are big franchises and well-known IPs and for years they have "formed" while associated with the Cartoon Network name. They are considered "CN classics" by everyone who remembers them, not as Cartoonito programs. Yes, they can have Cartoonito be a family channel if they want, I got over that. But, what I am trying to say is, given the mediocrity of the EMEA teams of CN, having those two franchises among those "many other" cartoons would give the variety a big boost. Even if they don't treat The Tom and Jerry Show well and give it reduced airtime, it still would help to have more characters for all ages. Same for Scooby, they have the Guess Who show which they haven't touched on in like three years from now. At least that show does have a more "big kids" vibe and would complement with Cartoonito airing Be Cool (if they really are that stubborn).
I am not comenting much about the other feeds, I know UK really needs to do something about the timeslots awareness, plus the African channel is from a very underrated part of the world which is why not many can talk much about it. The different tastes of Africa clearly hit there with its unique schedule (also, since when did they stop having CN Classics? I am surprised myself they don't air it anymore; at least they are now on par with us on that...)
Oh and I am not even going on bragging about them still being too afraid to show stuff like the 2023 Total Drama Island. Regular Show is in the same mature levels and they are now giving that decent treatment even with the censors. I would take butchered Total Drama Island reboot any day in terms of censorship than not having it at all.
I thought CN Turkey would ban this episode (Fuzzy Dice), but they aired it with censorship.
Looks like Digi TV Czechia had CN CEE back in late 2010:
Didn't Czechia have the Pan-Euro feed back then?

Paramount Skydance Corp. is reportedly prepared to sell some of its children's television assets to secure European Union regulatory approval for its $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery Inc.
The European Commission is scrutinising the merger due to the significant overlap between Paramount's Nickelodeon and Warner Bros. Discovery's Cartoon Network. A combined market share exceeding 40% in any European country could trigger antitrust interventions.
