Yeah, I'd like to think the replacement for Superman will be the final Bleach cour and not that Get Jiro show or some other random thing. Hopefully my optimism proves worthwhile.
Not getting a premiere to replace DDD stinks, but I'm happy to see this. Was so annoyed how they cut the remaster off after season 1 and then just never aired the season 2 remaster. I'm assuming they're going to redeem themselves this go around.
Retention went poopoo? A shame. Though, I can't really complain considering my own habits as of recent weeks. I've been going to bed after Rooster Fighter for a while now lol
That trailer makes it seem like MAWS is abandoning the relationship focus and becoming Superman shonen. If so then that's a shame. It'll probably still be decent but I really liked the unique direction they went with it originally.
Not really the first. Space Dandy was an [adult swim] premiere (not made by them, but neither was Rooster Fighter) and that was quite popular. Ninja Kamui did so good that we're getting two more seasons of it.
Obviously ratings are better compared to a year ago, but even with the blockbuster lineup later in the year, ratings were far lower than they are now. The block is just objectively doing better.
It's Viz's call, but I SERIOUSLY hope they do. It's been really fun, and there's still plenty to...
100k+ all night! 200k+ for Rooster Fighter! Great night!
2026 ratings have been putting 2025 ratings to shame so far. There’s been some off weeks, but we’ve been on the up these past months generally. This is the first year in over a decade you could say that. I suppose it is true that...
4/8: Good to see RF back up to 170k.
4/16: Apologies for the double-post and for being that guy but are the ratings available yet?
Mod note: Double post merged.
Happy to see Rooster Fighter consistently retain well from comedy. It’s not quite beating the comedy shows anymore, but that one week where that happened was nowhere near what I expected initially anyway. These are the numbers I was expecting, and they are what we’re getting. They’re quite...
My take is that cable has pretty much bottomed out, and will probably see a bit of a boost the next few years as streaming self-immolates. It’ll never be the giant it was, but the doomsday stories were wrong.
Yeah the animation is cheap as heck here. Thankfully, the characters are what I come to Regular Show for, so cheap animation isn’t a deal breaker. But it is certainly a little disappointing.
Regular Show is definitely one of CN’s most popular shows, and new cable-exclusive episodes will definitely do great, especially if it airs at 4PM right before [as].
