Yeah, that sounded worrisome. Shouldn't you have a concrete plan and cast by now? I get some of these pitches come out of the blue and connect with Gunn and Safran but sit down and integrate and finalize the new iteration of the canon/timeline. On the other hand, sure, it's hard to 100% predict which productions start on time but you can dictate when each one starts if you run a studio can't you? It also has me curious how they're starting out in TB&TB - like I was under the impression it starts with Damian already as Robin but now with all these back n' forth scoops for TT, will they adapt that bit in the comic with Tim as Robin and Damian attacks/challenges him for the mantle in TB&TB? Or will Tim already be Red Robin? DanielRPK is a fairly reliable scooper but this one got me squinting.

I"m guessing that there's a desire to keep Bruce Wayne's biological son as a surprise for the general audience that they don't want spoiled too early.

Focusing on all of those at once would be a good way to differentiate from Reeves' Batman .

I guess that might depend on whether Teen Titans ends up as part of the DC Universe continuity. It could instead be a period piece such as X-Men: First Class. But that's a subject for a different thread than this one.

It could be nice if they build up to him in other movies and projects until this movie comes out. Not necessarily like the cameo in Creature Commandos S1, but an easter egg or mention in passing would be neat.
